“+1 Loot To Forge” is not confirmed as the name of an official Diablo IV mechanic. Blizzard describes separate World Boss reward systems: the Urn of Calamity can provide additional gear, while the 2.5.0 PTR described Essence of Hellfire granting Lair Boss Keys for surviving World Boss encounters. The Heavenly Forge and Sanctification are related seasonal features, but the available official descriptions do not connect them to either reward.
What does the World Boss loot bonus do?
Blizzard’s Season of Divine Intervention announcement describes the Urn of Calamity as a way to earn additional gear rewards from World Bosses. It does not promise exactly one extra item, so “+1 Loot” should not be read as a confirmed item count.

The same announcement says Azmodan is a permanent World Boss across Seasonal and Eternal realms, appearing in rotation alongside other World Bosses. That establishes his status, not a specific spawn time or schedule. Check the current in-game information and patch notes for live timing and reward details.
What does Essence of Hellfire reward?
In Blizzard’s 2.5.0 Public Test Realm overview, surviving World Boss encounters earns Lair Boss Keys through Essence of Hellfire; the keys are doubled while the Essence is Purified. This is a PTR description, not confirmation that the same reward is active in the current live game. Verify the current client or live patch notes before relying on it.

| System | Reward described | Availability evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Urn of Calamity | Additional World Boss gear; an exact extra-item count is not stated in Blizzard’s Season of Divine Intervention announcement. | Described in Blizzard’s seasonal announcement for the season; check current in-game details for live status. |
| Essence of Hellfire | Lair Boss Keys for surviving World Boss encounters, doubled while Purified. | Described in Blizzard’s 2.5.0 PTR overview; that description alone does not establish the current live rule. |
How does the Heavenly Forge fit in?
Blizzard’s seasonal announcement describes Heavenly Sigils as items players can obtain and use to travel to the Heavenly Forge for Sanctification. This is a separate feature from the Urn of Calamity’s additional gear rewards and the PTR’s Essence of Hellfire key reward. The cited descriptions do not say that World Boss bonus loot is forged, or that Sanctification grants the bonus.
