Steam currently identifies Apple silicon as the Mac target and does not list a separate Mac GPU requirement. Its current Mac row names M1 and M2 chips; an older Intel Mac specification appearing on another site should not be treated as the current official requirement.
Can I run Zombie Assault: Resurgence?
Compare your PC with the minimum Windows table first. If it meets the listed CPU, memory, operating-system and DirectX requirements, it meets the published minimum specification, but that is not a guarantee of a particular frame rate or smoothness in every situation.

- Check your graphics device: Open Device Manager > Display adapters to identify the installed graphics device. The official requirement is DirectX 12 Compatible, not a named card. To check the DirectX version reported by Windows, press Windows key + R, enter
dxdiag, and review the DirectX information. A listed DirectX 12 version alone does not prove that every part of a graphics device or driver meets the game’s compatibility requirement. - Check free space: Confirm that the drive where Steam installs games has at least 4 GB available. Does Zombie Assault: Resurgence need a good GPU?

How much RAM and CPU power should you aim for?
The official Windows recommendation doubles the minimum memory from 8 GB to 16 GB and increases the CPU specification from a 3.2 GHz quad-core to a 4.6 GHz six-core or higher. Those are the clearest published hardware upgrades between the two tiers.
RAM: 8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended
Eight gigabytes is the listed minimum, while 16 GB is recommended. Windows, Steam and other running programs use memory too, so a PC with 8 GB has less headroom for the game and background tasks than a system with 16 GB. That is a practical reason to prefer the recommended amount, not evidence of a measured FPS improvement.
If you already have 8 GB and encounter pauses or stutters, close applications you do not need and check whether memory use is near capacity in Task Manager. If considering an upgrade, first confirm that the computer supports it: some laptops have soldered memory, and desktop systems have limits on supported capacity and memory type.
CPU: compare the actual processor, not just the GHz number
Steam’s minimum is a 3.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor; its recommendation is a 4.6 GHz six-core 64-bit processor or higher. Core count and clock rate are only part of a processor’s performance, and laptops may reduce processor speed under heat or battery-power limits. How much storage does the game take?
Steam lists 4 GB of available space for both Windows and Mac. What settings can affect performance?

Try Low if you need to reduce graphics quality

PCGamingWiki’s technical table reports HDR as always active, with no in-game option to turn it off. If brightness or presentation looks unusual on an HDR display, bear that behavior in mind. HDR can add compositor or GPU work on an HDR display, but no measured FPS penalty is available for this title.
Do not assume a DirectX 11 fallback or a VSync switch
The official Steam requirement says DirectX 12. A third-party technical table also lists Direct3D 11 and 12, but marks the Direct3D entries as uncertain. Do not rely on a DirectX 11 mode unless the game or Ninja Kiwi confirms it.
