The ZK-PP2K is a physical, single-channel module for generating continuous PWM or finite and delayed pulse sequences. Its manuals list a 3.3–30 V DC working range and a 1 Hz–150 kHz frequency range, but they disagree on frequency accuracy and do not establish that the stated 8 A maximum is safe for every load or continuous use.
What the ZK-PP2K does
The ZK-PP2K is a compact PWM and pulse signal generator module, rather than a software setting. A ZK-PP series manual describes one output channel, an LCD, frequency and duty-cycle adjustment, output enable/disable, and a PULSE mode. It also describes the output amplitude as equal to the supply voltage. The ZK-PP series manual hosted by RoboJax names Qingdao Wuzhi Intelligent Co. LTD.
The manual presents the module as usable either as a signal or excitation source or to drive loads such as motors, LEDs, and solenoid valves. Those are stated applications, not independently tested compatibility claims; the available documentation does not establish that the module suits every motor or inductive load.
Published specifications—and what they mean
| Specification | Manual-published value | Reader caveat |
|---|---|---|
| Working voltage | 3.3–30 V DC | Listed by both reviewed manuals; check the documentation for your unit’s revision. |
| Frequency range | 1 Hz–150 kHz | Listed by both reviewed manuals. |
| Frequency accuracy | About 1% in the ZK-PP series manual; 2% on a separate ZK-PP2K manual page | The manuals disagree, and neither figure is independently verified here. |
| Duty cycle | 0–100%, with 1% steps in the series manual | The model-specific page states the range but does not give the step size. |
| Loading/current claim | Less than 8 A in the series manual; maximum output current of 8 A on the model-specific page | Neither source establishes continuous-current performance under specified temperature, cooling, wiring, or load conditions. |
| Pulse count | 1–9999 or infinite | Describes selectable finite counts and continuous operation. |
| Delay and positive/negative pulse widths | 0.000–9999 seconds; minimum settings of 1 ms | Published settings, not independently measured timing performance. |
The figures above are specifications printed in manuals, not independent measurements. The model-specific operating page is hosted by Manuals.plus and reports the 2% accuracy figure. - ★ZK-PP2K PWM/pulse signal generator product introduction: This series of products are PWM and pulse signal generators. There are PWM mode and pulse mode. Only one mode can be used at a time, but the two modes can be switched at any time.
- ★Product Specifications: 1.Working voltage:3.3~30V (note that the positive and negative poles should not be reversed, otherwise it may burn) 2.Frequency range:1Hz~150KHz, the accuracy is about 2%. Motor speed regulation generally chooses 20KHZ 3.Duty cycle range:0-100%,1% step 4.Number of pulses:1-9999, or infinite (display '---' means infinite) 5.Delay output time:0.000s-9999s, the minimum can be set to 1ms 6.Positive and negative pulse width length:0.000s-9999s, the minimum can be set to 1ms
- ★Product Highlights: 1. It can directly drive loads such as LEDs, motors, solenoid valves, etc. 2. Two modes can be selected: PWM mode - one frequency (continuous), duty cycle. Note that switching times cannot be set in this mode, always, cyclically on and off; PULSE pulse mode 1 - positive pulse width time, negative pulse width time, power-on delay start time, and switching times are adjustable. 3. With the start and stop button, 4. Wide voltage input 3.3-30V,5.08mm terminal wiring
- ★Key operation instructions: 1. MOS switch type output, pay attention to no waveform, can directly drive the motor solenoid valve, etc. 2. When the number of switches reaches the set value, the output will be automatically stopped, and 'OUT' will disappear. 3. Press the ON key to control the presence or absence of the switch, and the disappearance of OUT means the output is turned off. 4. Power on and restart or ON key to turn on the output, and recalculate the switching times.
- ★Application scenarios: 1. PWM signal generator, square wave rectangular wave signal generator. 2. Used to generate square wave and rectangular wave signal to control DC motor or stepper motor driver; used for servo motor, stepper motor, substitute PLC pulse, etc. 3. ZK-PP2K can be matched with the driver to realize dimming, speed regulation, control solenoid valve, etc. ZK-PP2K can directly drive loads such as electric light motor solenoid valve.
Choose PWM for ongoing cycles
In PWM mode, the module repeatedly switches between high and low output according to a chosen frequency and duty cycle. Frequency sets how often a cycle repeats; duty cycle sets what percentage of each cycle is high. For example, at 60% duty, the high portion occupies 60% of each cycle.
The manual says PWM mode is indicated by a percent sign on the display and describes separate frequency and duty adjustments plus an output on/off control. It gives factory defaults of 1 kHz and 50% duty cycle. A second manual illustrates setting 20 kHz and 60% duty; this is an example configuration, not a performance test.

- Module Description: This module is a pulse generation module, supply the control signal to stepper driver. To control the stepper motor, it must be equipped with a drive.
- Feature: This simple controller + stepper driver + stepper motor + DC power supply can form a simple control platform.
- Frequency signal: The controller has a total of 3 kinds of frequency signals: high 5.4k-160khz, medium 540-16.6khz, low 80-2.4khz.
- PWM: It can generate pulse signal and PWM signal, and can be selected by jumping.
- Frequency measurement: Can measure PUL and common cathode (or common anode) two port.
Choose PULSE for timed sequences
PULSE mode adds parameters that continuous PWM does not: positive (high) pulse duration, negative (low) pulse duration, an initial delay, and a pulse count. Set a finite count from 1 to 9999 for a bounded sequence; the manual says output stops when that count is reached. Select infinite operation when the sequence should continue cycling.
Manual examples include a delayed run of 100 cycles with 10 ms high and 10 ms low periods. Treat those values as instructions for configuring the module, not proof that a particular load will respond as intended.

- XY-KPWM Signal Generator has two working modes to choose from, the frequency range of the normal mode is 1Hz-150kHz, and the duty cycle is stepped by 1%; the fine mode frequency range is 1Hz-15kHz, and the duty cycle is stepped by 0.1%
- PWM Generator use potential encoder to adjust, simple, convenient and easy to use; LCD liquid crystal display, clearly display frequency and duty cycle, PWM with switch, can turn on and off PWM output with one key
- Pulse generator PWM output can set frequency and duty cycle respectively; Adjust the upper and lower limits of duty cycle freely
- With locking function, prevent misoperation, all setting parameters, power-down storage, high frequency range, high precision, serial communication is acceptable
- Widely used as a square wave signal generator to generate square wave signals for experimental development and use. Used to generate square wave signals for controlling motor drivers; Generate adjustable pulses for MCU use; Generate adjustable pulses and control related circuits (applications such as PWM dimming and speed regulation), etc
Using the module safely
- Check the manual and product listing for your exact revision before relying on the displayed ranges or settings.
- Do not treat the 8 A claim as a guaranteed continuous rating. The reviewed manuals do not define thermal conditions, cooling, wiring, or load conditions for that figure.
- Match the DC supply, wiring, and load to the requirements of your specific setup; the 3.3–30 V range alone does not establish that every voltage/load combination is suitable.
- For motors and other inductive loads, verify compatibility and any required protection from the documentation for the module and the load. The available sources do not validate compatibility with all such devices.
A retailer categorizes the ZK-PP2K as a PWM DC motor speed controller, which supports that product-category framing but is not engineering validation: LaskaKit ZK-PP2K listing.
