Choose a YouTube TV add-on only when it gives your household access to specific programs or games it cannot already watch—and check what the package leaves out. Sports Plus is the clearest published monthly price: YouTube TV lists it at $10.99 per month. Premium-channel offers and availability depend on your account and home area, while NFL Sunday Ticket is for out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, not every NFL matchup.
How to decide whether a YouTube TV add-on is worth it
- Name the content you want. Start with a channel, show, or particular game—not a package name.
- Check whether you already get it. YouTube TV’s base lineup varies by home area. Enter your home ZIP code on its available locations and networks page, then check your account’s Membership settings for add-ons.
- Read the exclusions and access terms. A channel name does not guarantee every program, event, or app benefit associated with that brand.
- Compare the displayed price with your actual viewing. The published price may be monthly or seasonal, and the purchase route can affect coverage and access. Do not assume an advertised add-on price applies to every account.
YouTube TV says its service includes more than 100 broadcast, cable, and regional sports channels and is available throughout the United States, but the networks and add-ons available to a particular viewer should be checked by home ZIP code. Its public help pages do not establish one complete, universal premium add-on catalog and price list.
Sports Plus: best judged as a bundle
YouTube TV lists NFL RedZone with Sports Plus at $10.99 per month. The bundle includes NFL RedZone, beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS XTRA, Billiard TV, FanDuel TV, Fight Network, FOX Soccer Plus, Impact Wrestling, RACER Network, Outside, Overtime, PlayersTV, PokerGO+, SportsGrid, Stadium, Tennis Channel, VSiN, and Willow. YouTube TV says the package supports live viewing and recording with unlimited DVR storage. See YouTube TV’s Sports Plus details for the current offer.
The listed networks are bundled; this option does not let you buy one of them individually. It is more compelling if your household will watch RedZone plus several other included networks than if you want only one niche channel. Confirm the current price and availability in Membership settings before subscribing.

NFL Sunday Ticket: what it adds—and what it does not
Sunday Ticket is designed for fans who want regular-season Sunday afternoon NFL games on CBS and FOX that are not carried on their local broadcasts. It does not replace local games, nationally broadcast games, or postseason coverage. YouTube TV’s 2026 NFL viewing guide distinguishes Sunday Ticket from the games available through a YouTube TV or Sports plan.
Local and national games
YouTube TV’s guide says its YouTube TV or Sports plan includes local and national NFL broadcasts shown on CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, and NFL Network, subject to the games carried in the viewer’s area and schedule. Sunday Ticket does not add local games, Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, or postseason games. For local Sunday afternoon games, the guide also identifies Paramount+ for CBS games and FOX One for FOX games; Peacock is listed for Sunday Night Football and local NBC games through YouTube Primetime Channels. These services are separate viewing paths, not part of Sunday Ticket.

Purchase route and price
You can buy Sunday Ticket as an add-on to an active YouTube TV plan or as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel. The standalone route does not require YouTube TV and has different coverage. The official Sunday Ticket page stated a YouTube TV base-plan price of $82.99 per month when reviewed in 2026; that is the base plan price, not Sunday Ticket’s price. Check the official seasonal offer for the current Sunday Ticket price rather than treating the base-plan figure as the add-on cost.
Premium channels: verify the offer in your account
YouTube TV’s help pages name premium options such as SHOWTIME and STARZ, but do not provide a complete, universal current list with prices. Check the networks and offers shown for your home ZIP code and account before deciding. YouTube TV explains how to add or remove networks; use the price displayed in your own Membership settings rather than relying on a price quoted for another account or purchase route.

Paramount+ with SHOWTIME has important differences
Google says pricing and content availability for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME differ between YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels. On YouTube TV, program availability is limited, some programs may take time to appear in the YouTube TV Library, and YouTube TV credentials do not provide direct access to the service’s separate website or app. Buying through one route is therefore not necessarily equivalent to subscribing directly or through another YouTube service.

Google lists 4K Plus, NFL RedZone with Sports Plus, Entertainment Plus, NFL Sunday Ticket, and Spanish Plus as packages that require an active YouTube TV subscription. See the plan requirement list before choosing a purchase route. Sunday Ticket is also offered as a standalone YouTube Primetime Channel; that option is distinct from adding it to YouTube TV.

A quick decision guide
- Want NFL RedZone and several extra sports networks? Compare the Sports Plus bundle with your viewing habits; do not evaluate it as though RedZone were sold alone.
- Want out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL games? Consider Sunday Ticket, after checking its seasonal price and remembering that local, national, and postseason games are outside its coverage.
- Want a premium show or channel? Check whether it is already included, then verify the specific account offer, home-area availability, content limits, and app access terms.
- Only need a local or nationally televised NFL game? Check the base plan’s local and national broadcasts or the separate service identified for that game before paying for Sunday Ticket.
