There is no reliably verified “working April 2026” YIFY proxy list. The original YIFY release group has been defunct since October 30, 2015. Websites using the YIFY or YTS names today may be later services, clones, mirrors, or unrelated operators, and a matching logo or movie catalogue does not prove continuity or authenticity.
Proxy-list pages also disagree about which domains are official. One indexed status page claims that several YTS domains are operational, while another names a different primary domain. That conflict is enough to treat every “official mirror,” “unblocked now,” and “verified today” claim as unconfirmed.
Why a current YIFY proxy list cannot be verified
Availability is not a fixed technical property. A domain can work for one reader and fail for another because of ISP filtering, DNS resolution, national blocking, hosting changes, expired registration, or a takedown. A page that loads successfully may still be a copy rather than a genuine mirror.
Recommended Free Tools
The name itself is also weak evidence. “YIFY,” “YTS,” “proxy,” and “mirror” are easy to place in a domain, title, or page heading. Unrelated operators can copy the branding, layout, logos, and listings with little effort.

| What a list claims | What it actually proves |
|---|---|
| “Official domain” | Only that the publisher says it is official |
| “Working today” | That the page responded when it was checked, possibly from one location |
| “Unblocked mirror” | That the publisher is marketing a workaround; it does not establish ownership or safety |
| Copied movie catalogue | That content or metadata was copied, not that the site is authentic |
Domains reported by status pages are not independently confirmed
Search results for YIFY/YTS status pages have listed domains including YTS.GG, YTS.BZ, YTS.LT, and YTS.AM. A separate page has also claimed YTS.DO as the current official domain while listing several of the same addresses. These claims conflict and are not independent proof that any domain is operated by the original YIFY group.
For that reason, this guide does not present those addresses—or changing proxy-domain lists—as verified download destinations. Domains previously reported as active in January 2025 should not be treated as working in April 2026 without a trustworthy, contemporaneous verification source. Even a current status label does not establish that a site is safe.
What can happen when you use an unverified mirror
Reported failure modes go beyond a simple “site unavailable” message:

- Dual-band Wi-Fi with 5 GHz speeds up to 867 Mbps and 2.4 GHz speeds up to 300 Mbps, delivering 1200 Mbps of total bandwidth¹. Actual speeds cannot exceed your internet plan and vary based on conditions, distance, and obstacles such as walls.
- Dual-band routers do not support 6 GHz.
- Covers up to 1,000 sq. ft. with four external antennas for stable wireless connections and optimal coverage.
- Supports IGMP Proxy/Snooping, Bridge and Tag VLAN to optimize IPTV streaming
- Access Point Mode - Supports AP Mode to transform your wired connection into wireless network, an ideal wireless router for home.
- Redirect chains: several advertising or tracking pages open before the supposed movie page.
- Fake download controls: large buttons may download an executable, browser extension, or unrelated file rather than a video.
- Notification abuse: a page asks for permission to send browser notifications, which can later display scam or malware advertisements.
- Copied indexes: the search and film listings look familiar but are hosted by an unrelated operator.
- DNS and hosting failure: expired domains, takedowns, seizures, or abandoned infrastructure can cause intermittent errors.
- Malware and deceptive advertising: aggressive scripts may attempt phishing, unwanted downloads, or fake “virus detected” alerts.
How to inspect a suspicious page without downloading anything
- Do not trust a domain merely because it contains
yify, yts, proxy, ormirror. - Check the browser address bar for spelling changes, unexpected country-code domains, and redirect chains.
- Do not install an extension, enable browser notifications, or run a downloaded executable to access a film.
- Do not enter an email address, payment-card details, password, or identity information.
- Close pages that create repeated pop-ups, fake security warnings, or automatic downloads.
- If a file was downloaded unexpectedly, do not open it. Delete it and run a scan with your operating system’s security tools.
A successful page load is not a safety check. HTTPS encrypts the connection to a domain; it does not confirm that the operator is legitimate, that the files are safe, or that the content is authorized.
Proxy access is not anonymous
A web proxy can change the route or apparent source of a browser request, but it does not provide a universal anonymity guarantee. The proxy operator may log requests, the browser can expose identifying characteristics, and a BitTorrent client can communicate directly with other peers. Torrent transfers may also upload pieces of a file while downloading.
Using a VPN or proxy does not remove copyright obligations, prevent all tracking, or make an unauthorized distribution lawful. Rules differ by country, but downloading or redistributing copyrighted films without permission can create legal liability.

Safer ways to find a film
For legitimate availability, search the film title through services that track licensed streaming and rental options in your country. The result may include a subscription service, digital rental, purchase, library platform, broadcaster, or an official studio release. Availability changes by region, so check the provider’s own page before paying or signing in.
If you already use BitTorrent for lawful material—such as Linux distributions, open-source software, or creator-authorized releases—obtain the torrent or magnet link from the publisher’s official site and verify any supplied checksums. Do not assume that a familiar release name makes an unauthorized film torrent legitimate.
If you already opened a suspicious YIFY-style site
- Close the tab and deny notification permission if prompted.
- Remove any notification permission that was granted: in Chrome, open Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Notifications; in Edge, use Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Notifications. Remove the suspicious site.
- Check the browser’s downloads list and delete files you did not intentionally request.
- Uninstall unfamiliar extensions from the browser’s extensions page.
- Run a full scan using your installed security software and install pending browser and operating-system updates.
- If you entered a password, change it from a trusted device and enable multifactor authentication. Contact your bank promptly if payment details were submitted.
Bottom line on “working April 2026” mirrors
No independently verified universal list establishes which YIFY/YTS proxies work in April 2026, who operates them, or whether they are safe. The original YIFY group is not a current authority, status pages contradict one another, and mirror availability can change without notice. Treat every such list as unverified, avoid downloads and notification prompts, and use licensed sources for films whenever possible.

FAQ
Is the original YIFY group still operating?
The original YIFY operation is widely reported as defunct since October 30, 2015. Later sites using YIFY or YTS branding should not automatically be treated as the original group.
Which YIFY proxy is working in April 2026?
There is no independently verified universal answer. Domain status varies by country, ISP, DNS resolver, hosting provider, and time, while published status pages make conflicting claims.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Are YIFY and YTS domains official?
A domain name, copied layout, logo, or movie listing does not prove ownership. Current sites may be continuations, clones, mirrors, or unrelated services.

Does a proxy make torrenting anonymous?
No. A proxy may alter a web request’s apparent route, but it does not guarantee anonymity, prevent logging or browser fingerprinting, or stop a BitTorrent client from exposing peer information.
What should I do if a mirror asks me to install an extension?
Do not install it. Close the page, remove any notification permission, delete unexpected downloads, check browser extensions, and run a security scan.
Is accessing a torrent site legal?
The answer depends on your jurisdiction and conduct. Torrent technology has lawful uses, but downloading or redistributing copyrighted films without authorization may create legal consequences.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: a “working April 2026” YIFY proxy list cannot be independently verified, and the original YIFY group is no longer operating. Do not treat YIFY/YTS branding or a status-page claim as proof of authenticity or safety. Avoid unverified mirrors and use licensed film sources instead.
