For most Minecraft players who jitter click, the wired Glorious Model O is the strongest starting point—provided its light, symmetrical shape fits your hand. Its 67 g weight, wired connection and adjustable debounce suit the technique, but no mouse guarantees a particular clicks-per-second (CPS) result. Choose a Roccat Kone for a more supportive ergonomic shape, a Bloody A70 only if specialist high-CPS or drag-click behavior is a priority, or the wireless Glorious Model O 2 PRO if you want a newer lightweight option.

What should you look for in a jitter-clicking mouse?

Jitter clicking is a hand technique, not a feature a mouse can perform for you. The useful mouse qualities are reliable click registration, low latency, manageable weight, little cable drag and a shape that lets you keep your hand controlled. The best choice is the one that lets you produce repeatable inputs without your fingers, wrist or forearm becoming tense.

Weight is a trade-off, not a score: a lighter mouse can reduce fatigue and make rapid movements easier, while a very light shell may feel less planted. Fit matters just as much. A mouse that fights your preferred fingertip or claw grip can undermine the advantage of a low number on the spec sheet. A heavier ergonomic shell may let some players keep a steadier aim and click rhythm for longer sessions.

  • Weight and balance: Consider whether a lighter shell feels easy to control through a session, not just easy to lift. Balance also matters: a mouse that feels front- or rear-heavy can make small corrections tiring.
  • Shape and grip: Symmetrical shapes allow more hand-position flexibility; ergonomic right-handed shells can offer more support for palm or claw grips. Button texture and the height or spacing of the main buttons affect how consistently your fingers contact them.
  • Click behavior: Adjustable debounce lets you experiment with how the mouse filters closely spaced clicks. A lower setting is not automatically better and may lead to accidental double clicks or inconsistent behavior.
  • Connection: A wired USB mouse avoids battery and radio variables. Wireless is not inherently ruled out, but its suitability depends on the specific model, charge state and how it feels in play. Cable drag can be noticeable when you make rapid horizontal movements.
  • Everyday use: Sensor behavior, button feel, cable and build quality matter if the mouse will also be used for ordinary gaming. A specialist mouse that produces interesting tester numbers may be unpleasant for building, inventory work or other games.
  • Polling and latency: A higher report rate or a low measured click-latency figure describes responsiveness in a particular test. Neither number is a direct CPS rating, and neither guarantees that a server will accept every transition.
  • Server rules: A mouse’s registration behavior cannot make a server accept inputs its rules or filtering reject. Check the rules for the server and game mode where you intend to play.

There is no standardized, manufacturer-certified jitter-click CPS leaderboard in the cited material. CPS results depend on technique, surface friction, firmware filtering, debounce settings, hand condition and the individual mouse; a tester may count transitions that Minecraft or a server later filters. Buying by a headline CPS claim is therefore a poor substitute for choosing a mouse you can control.

What should you test before changing settings?

Use the mouse at its default configuration first. Spend enough time to learn whether the shell, button tension and cable or wireless arrangement feel natural. Then change only one variable at a time, such as debounce, and repeat the same short test. Record both the number shown by a local tester and whether you notice accidental double-clicks, missed inputs or loss of aim control.

Test in three places: a local click counter, a normal Minecraft world and the server on which you actually play. These answer different questions. The counter shows what its software recognizes, the world shows whether you can maintain movement and aim, and the server shows what its filtering accepts. A result that looks impressive in the first test but produces rejected bursts or poor combat control is not a practical improvement.

Which mice are the best candidates?

The four choices below serve different priorities. The Model O wired is the lightweight default; the Kone family favors ergonomic support; the A70 is a specialist option; and the Model O 2 PRO offers a lighter wireless-capable alternative.

Mouse Best fit Relevant published details Main trade-off
Glorious Model O wired Most players seeking a light, wired mouse 67 g; 1,000 Hz polling; 4–16 ms adjustable debounce, 10 ms default; USB 2.0. Glorious lists a PMW-3360 sensor, Omron mechanical main switches rated for 20 million clicks, six buttons, up to 12,000 DPI, 250+ IPS tracking and 50G acceleration. Its light, symmetrical shell still has to suit your hand. The listed specifications do not establish a CPS result.
Roccat Kone XP or Kone Pro Players who value ergonomic support and stability MouseTesting describes the family as capable of rapid clicking, with textured buttons, strong sensors and low-debounce firmware. GamerHardware gives model-specific editorial CPS ranges under low-debounce conditions; the cited material does not provide standardized lab measurements. The larger, heavier ergonomic design trades some agility for stability. Confirm the exact model and its connection, shell and availability.
Bloody A70 Players specifically interested in specialist high-CPS or drag-click behavior TechYorker reports manufacturer-described drag-click support, Light Strike switches, click response under 0.2 ms, zero-bounce behavior, more than 20 million left/right clicks, up to 6,200 CPI and selectable 125–1,000 Hz report rates. These specifications do not prove a jitter-click advantage. Drag-click behavior is not the same as jitter-click performance, and this is a less conventional all-purpose choice.
Glorious Model O 2 PRO Players wanting a light mouse with wired and wireless options Glorious lists 57 g, USB and 2.4 GHz connectivity, 1,000 Hz polling, adjustable 4–16 ms debounce, a BAMF 2.0 optical sensor, optical switches rated for 100 million clicks, up to 26,000 DPI and 650 IPS tracking. Its guide lists up to 80 hours of battery life at 1,000 Hz. The cited specifications do not include a Minecraft-specific jitter-click test or establish it as a CPS leader.

Why is the wired Model O the default recommendation?

Glorious’s official guide gives the wired Model O a 67 g weight, USB connection, 1,000 Hz polling and adjustable 4–16 ms debounce, with 10 ms as the default. Together, those specifications make it a clear lightweight, wired mainstream choice for players who want to try jitter clicking without starting with a specialist drag-click mouse.

The PMW-3360 sensor is listed with tracking up to 250-plus inches per second, 50G acceleration and a maximum 12,000 DPI. Those figures are more than sufficient as ordinary pointing specifications, but they do not tell you how many clicks your hand can generate. The Omron mechanical main switches are rated for 20 million clicks, and the mouse has six buttons, making it a conventional gaming mouse rather than a single-purpose click device.

The guide does not promise a CPS figure. Its 1,000 Hz polling rate and adjustable debounce should be treated as mouse specifications, not as evidence that a particular setting will produce more accepted Minecraft clicks. Start with the default behavior and judge the mouse by control and reliable registration in your own setup. If you experiment with the 4–16 ms range, watch for accidental double clicks as well as missed rapid inputs.

The symmetrical shell is the main question mark. It gives more freedom to fingertip and claw users, but not every hand finds a low, light shell comfortable. If your fingers slide off the buttons or your wrist becomes tense, the 67 g figure is not helping. A retailer with a return policy or an opportunity to try the shape is more valuable than an unverified CPS promise.

When does a Roccat Kone make more sense?

Consider a Kone XP or Kone Pro if a larger ergonomic shell feels more stable than a lightweight symmetrical mouse. MouseTesting characterizes the Kone family as comfortable all-around gaming mice that can support rapid clicking, citing textured buttons, strong sensors and low-debounce firmware. That is a different priority from minimizing weight. The extra support can help a player maintain a consistent grip instead of constantly repositioning a smaller mouse.

GamerHardware reports CPS ranges for the Kone Pro and Kone XP under low-debounce conditions, but identifies variation by technique, hand condition and individual unit. Treat those figures as editorial or community benchmarks, not as controlled measurements you can expect to reproduce. A range reported by one reviewer is not a guarantee for a different production unit, a different surface or a different Minecraft server.

Check the specific model before buying: Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP differ in shell, connection and availability. The Air version introduces a different connection arrangement from the wired models, while product names can look interchangeable in store listings. Confirm the exact weight, whether a cable is included or required, the button layout and the software or firmware behavior described for that model.

The Kone is the sensible comparison when your priority is comfort over minimum mass. It is not automatically a faster mouse. If you can maintain aim and movement more easily with the ergonomic shape, that practical stability may outweigh a few grams saved by another option.

Who should consider the Bloody A70?

The A70 is worth considering only if specialist high-CPS or drag-click behavior is part of what you want. TechYorker reports Bloody’s drag-click support and specifications including a click response under 0.2 ms, zero-bounce behavior and selectable report rates from 125 to 1,000 Hz. It also reports Light Strike switches, more than 20 million left- and right-clicks and a maximum 6,200 CPI.

Those features do not establish that the A70 is better for jitter clicking. In particular, zero-bounce filtering is intended to suppress unintended switch bounce, while drag clicking deliberately creates many rapid transitions. A switch designed to avoid bounce and a technique that intentionally generates repeated transitions are not the same use case. The presence of a drag-click feature should therefore be treated as a reason to investigate the A70, not as proof of superior jitter performance.

Do not read the A70’s feature list as a guaranteed CPS result or a reason to choose it as a universal gaming mouse. Its specialist appeal is strongest for players who already know they want to explore drag clicking and accept that server rules may treat those inputs differently. For a player who simply wants a comfortable everyday Minecraft mouse, the Model O or Kone is a clearer starting point.

Is the Model O 2 PRO a good newer alternative?

The Model O 2 PRO is the spec-led alternative for someone who wants a lighter shell and both USB and 2.4 GHz connectivity. Glorious lists it at 57 g, with 1,000 Hz polling, adjustable 4–16 ms debounce and up to 80 hours of battery life at 1,000 Hz. It uses a BAMF 2.0 optical sensor rated up to 26,000 DPI and 650 IPS, and optical switches rated for 100 million clicks.

Its guide is a specification source, not a Minecraft jitter-click comparison. Its lower listed weight than the wired Model O may appeal if it feels more controllable to you, but it is not evidence that it will deliver higher CPS. Wireless flexibility can also be useful if cable drag bothers you, while USB operation gives you a direct wired option when charging or troubleshooting.

Pay attention to the same fundamentals as with the original Model O: shape, button feel, debounce behavior and server acceptance. The 80-hour battery figure is specified at 1,000 Hz, but actual use still depends on how you operate the mouse and when you recharge it. Choose the PRO for its combination of weight and connectivity, not because the name or newer sensor implies a Minecraft ranking.

How should you choose between them?

Start with the feel and use case you want, then check the exact model’s connection and click behavior. Use this order to avoid treating a single specification as the answer.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Choose your grip priority. If you prefer a light, symmetrical mouse, begin with the wired Model O. If an ergonomic shell feels more stable, compare the Kone XP and Kone Pro. A shape mismatch is not fixed by a lighter weight or a lower debounce number.
  2. Decide whether you want wired or wireless. USB gives you a direct wired connection; the Model O 2 PRO is the listed option among these four with both USB and 2.4 GHz connectivity. Consider cable drag, battery habits and how the mouse feels through actual play.
  3. Check the exact product variant. Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP are not interchangeable names. Confirm the model, connection, shell, weight and current availability before deciding. Store pages sometimes group related products, so read the specification panel for the exact version.
  4. Use debounce as an adjustment, not a promise. Where the model offers adjustable debounce, treat the manufacturer’s range and default as starting information. Lowering it can increase accidental double-clicks; it does not guarantee more accepted in-game clicks. Make one change at a time and return to the default if reliability worsens.
  5. Consider your non-Minecraft use. Look at the button feel, sensor, cable or wireless arrangement and build as well as rapid-click specifications if this will be your everyday mouse. A specialist feature is not worth sacrificing comfort in every other game.
  6. Check the server’s rules. A high reading in a CPS tester does not establish that a Minecraft server will accept the same burst of clicks. Rules and anti-cheat filtering can make a theoretically fast setup unusable in a particular mode.
  7. Compare real control, not only numbers. During a normal session, note fatigue, aim stability, accidental inputs and whether your hand changes position. The mouse that lets you repeat a controlled motion is usually a better purchase than the one with the most dramatic marketing claim.

Do latency and polling-rate numbers predict CPS?

No. Polling rate describes how often the mouse reports its state; it is not a CPS rating. A mouse listed at 1,000 Hz is not thereby guaranteed to produce—or have a server accept—1,000 clicks per second. Report rate can affect how frequently state changes are communicated, but the hand technique, switch behavior, firmware and game processing still determine what happens.

Latency measurements also depend on the test and model. CHERRY’s technical backgrounder reproduces pre-release click-latency measurements from TechPowerUp’s 2024 comparison: 0.9 ms for the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 and 3.8 ms for the Glorious Model O/O-/D/D- Wireless. Those are measured click-latency figures in that test context, not a universal ranking for jitter clicking, and they do not establish results for the wired Model O discussed above.

Likewise, the A70’s reported under-0.2 ms click response is a manufacturer-described specification relayed by TechYorker, not a head-to-head jitter-click test. Do not compare it directly with a separate test’s latency number as though the figures were measured under identical conditions. Different equipment, firmware and measurement definitions can produce numbers that look comparable but answer different questions.

  • Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft

The Model O wired’s 1,000 Hz setting and the Model O 2 PRO’s 1,000 Hz setting are useful responsiveness specifications for ordinary gaming. They should not be converted into a promised CPS figure. A lower latency can reduce delay in a measured click path, but it cannot supply the repeated muscle movement required for jitter clicking.

What can make a high CPS result misleading?

A CPS counter records what its own test recognizes; it does not establish what a Minecraft server accepts. The cited buying guides warn that servers such as Hypixel may reject very high CPS bursts. Rules and filtering can therefore matter more than a mouse’s potential to register rapid input. Always check the current rules for the server you use instead of assuming that a local result is permitted.

Results can also differ between people and even between individual units. Technique, hand condition, surface friction, firmware filtering and debounce settings all affect the outcome. A dry or tired hand may produce a different result from a rested hand; a different surface can change friction; and two units of the same model may not behave identically. This is why reported Kone CPS ranges and drag-click claims should be treated as context rather than a promised result for your hand or server.

There is also a difference between jitter clicking and drag clicking. Jitter clicking relies on controlled hand or finger vibration to produce repeated conventional clicks. Drag clicking intentionally uses friction across a button to create rapid transitions. A mouse advertised for drag clicking may have characteristics that appeal to that technique without offering an advantage to a player using jitter clicks. Do not substitute one technique’s reputation for evidence about the other.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Before buying specifically for a CPS claim, separate three questions: what the mouse’s manufacturer says it can register, what a local tester counts, and what the server permits. Only the first is answered by a specification sheet; the second and third depend on your setup and the game’s rules. A sensible purchase improves comfort and consistency first, then treats any extra CPS as an individual result to verify.

Which mouse is the best value for a normal Minecraft setup?

The available specifications do not establish current prices, so there is no defensible price winner here. Instead, match the product to the compromise you are willing to make. The wired Model O offers the simplest lightweight starting point. The Kone family asks you to accept more mass in exchange for ergonomic support. The A70 makes sense only when its specialist behavior is central to your use. The Model O 2 PRO asks you to choose a newer, lighter design with wireless flexibility.

When comparing listings, verify that the advertised weight, connection and debounce range belong to the exact model. Do not infer the wired Model O’s details from a wireless Model O page, or apply Kone XP claims to a Kone Pro Air. Availability can change, and the same family name may cover substantially different hardware.

Bottom line

For most players, start with the Glorious Model O wired if its 67 g symmetrical shape fits your hand. Pick the Roccat Kone XP or Kone Pro when ergonomic stability matters more than minimum weight. Choose the Bloody A70 only for a deliberate specialist high-CPS or drag-click setup, not because an advertised response time guarantees jitter-click results. Choose the Glorious Model O 2 PRO when 57 g weight and USB-plus-2.4 GHz flexibility are more important than having a Minecraft-specific performance test.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does higher DPI make a mouse click faster?

No. DPI describes pointer sensitivity, not how quickly the main switches can register repeated clicks. A higher maximum DPI is not, by itself, a jitter-clicking advantage.

How much do these mice cost?

The cited specifications and buying-guide details do not establish current prices. Check the exact model and seller for your region, since availability and pricing can change.

Are Kone Pro, Kone Pro Air and Kone XP the same mouse?

No. They are distinct models in the Kone family, with differences in shell, connection and availability. Verify the exact model name rather than assuming one model’s details apply to another.

Should I immediately lower the debounce setting?

No. Use the default first, then change one setting at a time. A lower debounce value can increase accidental double-clicks and does not guarantee more clicks accepted by Minecraft or a server.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Is a 1,000 Hz polling rate equal to 1,000 CPS?

No. Polling rate is the frequency at which the mouse reports its state. It is not a clicks-per-second rating and does not determine what a server will accept.

Can the Bloody A70 guarantee the highest CPS?

No. Its reported drag-click support, under-0.2 ms response and zero-bounce behavior are specifications, not a standardized jitter-click test. Technique, unit variation, firmware and server filtering still affect the result.

Is the wireless Model O 2 PRO automatically slower than the wired Model O?

The listed specifications do not establish a universal CPS or jitter-click ranking. The 2 PRO supports USB and 2.4 GHz operation, so choose it for its weight and connectivity if those suit your setup.

Will a CPS tester result work on every Minecraft server?

Not necessarily. A tester counts the transitions its own software recognizes, while servers can filter or reject very high bursts. Check the rules and test on the server where you intend to play.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

The Bottom Line

Best starting point: Glorious Model O wired for its 67 g weight, USB connection and adjustable debounce. Choose the Roccat Kone for ergonomic support, the Bloody A70 for specialist drag-click priorities, or the Model O 2 PRO for a 57 g wired/wireless design. In every case, grip comfort, reliable registration and server rules matter more than a headline CPS number.
