Marvel’s Wolverine Photo Mode screenshots are saved as PS5 captures, not to a separate Wolverine-specific folder described in the game’s Photo Mode guide. After composing a shot, use the DualSense controller’s Create controls to take a screenshot, then find it in the PS5’s Recently created card or in Media Gallery. Media Gallery is where you can browse captures by game, share or manage them, and copy them to a connected USB drive.
How do you take a screenshot from Wolverine Photo Mode?
Photo Mode lets you compose the image inside Marvel’s Wolverine, but composing a shot and saving a PS5 screenshot are separate actions. Once the image looks right, use the controller’s Create controls to capture it.
- Open Photo Mode. Pause the game and select Photo Mode. The default entry point is the Pause menu. You can also assign Photo Mode to a D-Pad shortcut in the game’s Settings.
- Compose the image. Adjust the camera and available effects until the shot is ready. PlayStation’s October 22, 2026 Photo Mode guide describes options including lighting, character poses, filters, miniature mode, and camera tilt for portrait framing. It says you can use up to five independent lighting rigs.
- Capture the composed shot. Press the DualSense Create button to open the PS5 Create menu, then choose a capture method to take the screenshot. The in-game composition alone is not the saved console capture.
Where can you find a screenshot you just took?
For a capture taken moments ago, use Recently created. Open the Create menu and select the most recent capture thumbnail, or press the PS button to open the control center and choose the Recently created card. PlayStation says that card can show up to 15 recent captures.

Recently created is the quick route to a new image, rather than the best place to manage an entire collection. If the capture is no longer among the recent items, open Media Gallery from the PS5 games home and look for its album.

How do you browse and manage Wolverine screenshots in Media Gallery?
Media Gallery is the PS5 location for viewing and managing screenshots and video clips. Its Albums organize captures by game title, so look for the album associated with Marvel’s Wolverine rather than expecting a separate Photo Mode export location.
- Open Media Gallery from the games home.
- Browse the Albums and select the one for Marvel’s Wolverine.
- Select a capture’s thumbnail to view it and choose an available action, such as sharing, favoriting, editing, or deleting it.
The Wolverine-specific Photo Mode guide explains how to make images but does not name a separate game folder or its own export system. The console-level Media Gallery instructions are therefore the relevant guide to locating and handling the saved screenshot.

How do you share a Wolverine screenshot?
Select the capture in Media Gallery and choose the share action. PlayStation’s capture instructions describe sharing from a selected capture; the destinations available to you can depend on the PS5 software and services available to your account.

- Connect a USB drive to the PS5.
- Open Media Gallery and select the screenshot.
- Choose More > Copy to USB Drive.
PlayStation’s current support instructions document this as a Media Gallery action. They do not establish a Wolverine-specific export step inside Photo Mode.
Which route should you use: Recently created or Media Gallery?
Use Recently created for quick access to a screenshot you just captured. Use Media Gallery when you need to browse by game, manage a capture, share it, or copy it to USB.

What should you check if the screenshot is missing?
First check whether you completed the PS5 capture step after composing the image. Photo Mode creates the composition; the Create controls save the console screenshot. Then check Recently created for a recent capture and Media Gallery for the game’s album.
- It is not in Recently created: that card shows up to 15 recent captures, so check Media Gallery as well.
- You only adjusted the shot in Photo Mode: use the Create controls to take the screenshot.
- You cannot find a Wolverine-specific export folder: the game’s Photo Mode guide does not describe one; use the PS5 Media Gallery workflow.
