For the sound, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA features a pair of 20-watt speakers that produce a reasonable sound quality. Furthermore, these speakers are loud enough to fill a large room with sound.

Sadly, this Samsung television lacks a subwoofer. Therefore, it won’t be able to produce enough bass.

As a result, viewing movies with heavy bass on this Samsung television may not be the best thing to do. However, to compensate for its lack of a subwoofer, this television features a sound technology called Dolby Digital Plus.

With this sound technology, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA will be able to deliver cinema-style audio quality. However, despite the Dolby Digital Plus, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA offers an average distortion performance.

This was confirmed through the television’s Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) test result. Briefly, THD is a test that evaluates the level of distortion that a sound device can produce.

In addition to that, a score of 1% or less on this test means that the sound device produces minimal distortion. Regrettably, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA scored a little bit above 1%.

Apart from that, there is a plus-shaped navigation button a bit below the center of the remote. However, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA’s remote control doesn’t have any dedicated button for quick access to streaming apps.

In addition to its lack of dedicated buttons, this remote doesn’t feature an in-built microphone. Therefore, the remote doesn’t support voice input.

As one would expect from a Samsung smart television, the Samsung UN75NU6900FXZA makes use of the Tizen operating system. This OS offers a simple and straightforward interface that is easy to navigate.

Furthermore, the Tizen OS has plenty of popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video. Moreover, in case you desire more streaming apps, you can easily download them via the Samsung Store.
