Bing’s homepage quiz is tied to the image of the day, so finding it is less about opening a permanent quiz page and more about using the current Bing homepage correctly. Microsoft’s documented route is to open Bing.com, then hover over the area beneath the homepage search box. You can also hover over the image headline or caption in the lower-right corner and select the headline or caption details.

This guide covers the current access path, what to do when the quiz is missing, and a reliable research method for answering questions. Microsoft does not publish a permanent answer key, universal question count, fixed score, or guaranteed way to get every question right, so those details should not be treated as fixed features.

How to open the Bing Homepage Quiz

  1. Open Bing.com in a desktop browser or mobile browser.
  2. Look below the main search box and move the pointer over that area. The daily quiz entry can appear when the homepage content is revealed.
  3. Click the quiz-related prompt to open the quiz and its information about the day’s image subject.

There is another documented route. Move the pointer over the image headline or caption information in the lower-right corner of the homepage, then click the headline or caption information. This opens more details about the image and provides access to the quiz.

The quiz is associated with the current homepage image. It is not documented as a permanent catalogue at a fixed address such as bing.com/quiz. If an old guide tells you to use that as the standard route, treat the advice as outdated or unverified.

What the quiz covers

Microsoft describes the quiz as being connected to the subject of that day’s homepage image. The quiz page also includes information about the subject and links to additional material. That gives you a useful advantage: the image topic is usually the starting point for checking facts before you answer.

For example, if the image features a national park, identify the park first, then verify its location, geology, wildlife, history, or conservation status from reliable sources. If it features an animal, confirm the species rather than relying on a visual guess. Read each question carefully because a question may ask about the pictured subject, not necessarily about the exact photograph.

How to view recent Bing homepage images

The controls beside the daily image headline let you select < or > to move through recent homepage images. Microsoft documents access to the last seven days of images.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

This is useful when you missed yesterday’s image or accidentally refreshed the page. However, Microsoft does not explicitly guarantee that every previous image in that seven-day view still has an accessible quiz. The arrows are documented as image-navigation controls, not as a guaranteed archive of all past quizzes.

What to do when the quiz is not visible

Work through these checks in order:

  1. Refresh Bing.com. Use the browser’s refresh button rather than relying on a stale tab that was left open overnight.
  2. Move over the correct areas. Hover beneath the search box and separately over the lower-right image headline or caption. Some homepage elements are revealed only when the pointer is positioned over them.
  3. Check the homepage image setting. Open the Bing settings icon in the upper-right corner. Under Customize your homepage, check whether Show homepage image is enabled.
  4. Check the menu and content settings. The same section includes switches for Show menu bar and Show news and interests. These settings can change the homepage presentation, although Microsoft does not document them as direct quiz controls.
  5. Try a private window or another browser. This can expose problems caused by cached files, extensions, content blockers, or a corrupted site setting.
  6. Consider regional availability. Microsoft states that some homepage features and functionality may not be available in every country or region.

If Show homepage image is disabled, the image-linked quiz may not appear in the normal homepage presentation. Microsoft documents the setting but does not provide a separate alternative quiz path for users who hide the image.

Do not confuse the download control with the quiz

Some Bing image details include Download today’s image. That control downloads the wallpaper image; it does not open the quiz. Some images cannot be downloaded because of licensing restrictions. A disabled or missing download option therefore does not prove that the quiz is unavailable.

A practical method for getting questions right

You cannot guarantee every answer from a permanent official answer list because Microsoft does not publish one in the current homepage documentation. You can, however, reduce avoidable mistakes with this process:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Identify the subject precisely. Use the image caption and quiz information. Record the exact name, location, person, species, event, or object.
  2. Read the full question before searching. Note dates, geographic qualifiers, words such as “first” or “largest,” and whether the question asks about the image or the broader subject.
  3. Use the quiz’s own information first. Open the links supplied on the quiz page. They are the most direct context for the daily image.
  4. Cross-check uncertain facts. For dates, names, measurements, and rankings, compare a reputable reference such as a museum, government agency, university, encyclopedia, or established news organization.
  5. Check the wording against the choices. A plausible fact can still be the wrong answer if it describes a related place, species, person, or time period.
  6. Do not rush based on memory. Image quizzes often use subjects that look familiar but have similar names or easily confused locations.

A compact research table can help when the quiz covers several facts:

Question detail What to verify Best source type
Place or landmark Official name, country, and location Government, park service, museum, or tourism authority
Animal or plant Species identification and range University, conservation organization, or natural-history institution
Historical fact Date, person, and event Museum, archive, university, or reference work
Record or ranking Definition, date, and measurement Official organization or current specialist source

Bing Rewards: what is and is not confirmed

Microsoft Rewards lists quizzes and daily activities among ways users may earn points. Rewards participation requires a Microsoft account. That requirement applies to Rewards participation, not necessarily to simply viewing the Bing homepage quiz.

Do not assume that every Bing homepage quiz awards points, that every question has a fixed value, or that the same score applies in every country. Microsoft says daily search limits and point caps depend on the user’s Rewards level and country. The official Rewards information retrieved here does not identify the homepage quiz specifically, publish a universal point value, or define a universal streak or penalty system.

If points matter, sign in to your Microsoft account and check the Rewards dashboard for the activity and credit shown on your account. The dashboard is more reliable than an old points table copied into a third-party guide.

Features Microsoft does not document as universal

Current Microsoft support documentation does not describe all of the following as standard, guaranteed quiz features:

  • A fixed number of questions in every quiz
  • A universal timer
  • A permanent skip button
  • Unlimited retries
  • A fixed penalty for wrong answers
  • A universal point value per question
  • A permanent official answer-key page
  • A command-line instruction, keyboard command, URL parameter, or browser-console method for completing the quiz

Mouse-hover and click interactions are the documented workflow. Avoid browser scripts or unofficial “answer” tools that claim to unlock a hidden answer key. Besides being unreliable when Bing changes its interface, they may interfere with your account or violate service rules.

Can I access yesterday’s Bing quiz?

You can use the < and > controls beside the image headline to view the last seven days of homepage images. Microsoft does not explicitly guarantee that every image in that range still provides its quiz.

Does every Bing Homepage Quiz give Microsoft Rewards points?

Microsoft Rewards lists quizzes and daily activities as ways to earn points, but the retrieved official information does not specifically guarantee points for every homepage quiz or publish a universal value.

Why can’t I see the quiz on Bing?

Refresh the homepage, hover beneath the search box and over the lower-right image headline, confirm that Show homepage image is enabled, try another browser or private window, and consider regional availability. Some homepage features are not available in every region.

Is Download today’s image the quiz button?

No. It downloads the daily wallpaper image. Open the image headline or caption information to look for quiz access.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Can I use a command or URL parameter to answer the quiz automatically?

No such method is documented by Microsoft. The documented workflow uses mouse-hover and click interactions, and Microsoft does not publish an official answer-key mechanism.

The Bottom Line

Open Bing.com, hover beneath the search box, and use the daily image headline or caption if necessary. Enable Show homepage image when the image-based controls are missing. For accuracy, identify the image subject, read the wording closely, use the quiz’s linked information, and verify uncertain facts with authoritative sources. The quiz’s availability, format, and Rewards credit can vary, so no responsible guide can promise a permanent answer key or a universal way to get every question right.
