The notes establish that memory, streaming, relaunch behavior, and upscaler profiles have all been targets of fixes. They do not establish that one of those areas is the cause of every player’s stutter. If the game is already on 1.06, continue with the profile and system checks rather than repeatedly reinstalling without changing a diagnostic variable.
How do I check whether Ultra settings returned after a restart?
A relaunch-related Ultra profile can make a system appear suddenly underpowered. After starting the game, open Options or Settings, select Graphics or Video, and inspect each value before loading a demanding area.

Does my PC meet The Mound’s official requirements?

The RAM and storage figures are capacity requirements, not performance guarantees. The minimum GPU list also contains different architectures and memory capacities, so the names should not be treated as interchangeable performance results. The published requirements do not specify an FPS target at 1080p, 1440p, or 4K.

Is the problem low average FPS or stuttering?

A Steam discussion includes an anecdotal report of dips below 5 FPS. That report demonstrates that severe symptoms have been described by at least one player, but it is not a controlled benchmark and cannot establish expected performance for a particular GPU, CPU, or console.
Which settings can I change safely while troubleshooting?
There is no official universal best-settings table, so use changes as experiments rather than promises. Keep a written baseline and reverse a change if it makes image quality or frame pacing worse.
- Move from Ultra to a lower preset and relaunch, especially when the issue began after restarting the game.
- Reduce resolution or render scale to test whether the GPU is the sustained bottleneck.

Do I need more RAM or a faster CPU?
The official PC listing specifies 16 GB of RAM for both minimum and recommended configurations, so adding memory is not automatically the right fix for every stutter. Check whether your system actually has less than 16 GB or is running out of available memory while the game and other applications are open.
CPU upgrades are most relevant when the processor is below the listed tier or is consistently limiting frame delivery. A faster GPU cannot remove a CPU-bound dip, and neither upgrade addresses a faulty graphics profile or a patch-specific streaming problem. Compare both CPU and GPU tiers before choosing a component.
