Tetr offers the larger published maximum, but not a guaranteed award. Tetr says scholarships can cover up to 100% of tuition. Its 2026 four-year undergraduate schedule lists $121,100 in tuition, so a full tuition award could remove that amount; $69,800 in other listed fees and an estimated $41,900 in living costs would still remain. Hult publishes campus-specific 2027–2028 program fees—GBP42,590 in London, USD65,590 in Boston and AED157,800 in Dubai—but does not publish a standard scholarship percentage or dollar amount. Hult’s October 2025 policy caps combined institutional merit awards at 100% of tuition, with the actual figure stated in each student’s offer. The only reliable comparison is your written award and the charges it excludes, not either school’s headline maximum.

How much could a Tetr scholarship reduce the total cost?

Tetr’s public admissions language sets a ceiling of up to 100% of tuition for undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. The ceiling is not a prediction of what an applicant will receive. Using Tetr’s 2026 undergraduate fee schedule, the largest possible tuition reduction is $121,100 over four years if an award covers the entire published tuition amount.

Tetr four-year undergraduate item Published amount What a full tuition award changes
Tuition $121,100 Could reduce this amount to $0, subject to the written award
Total listed fees $190,900 Not all of this total is tuition
Other listed academic and administration fees $69,800 Remain when only tuition is covered ($190,900 − $121,100)
Estimated four-year living expenses $41,900 Separate from the tuition figure

That arithmetic matters because “100% scholarship” does not mean a free four-year education. On the published figures, a student with a full tuition award would still need to budget $69,800 in listed non-tuition fees before living expenses. Adding Tetr’s $41,900 living estimate produces $111,700 in remaining listed fees and estimated living costs, assuming the award excludes both categories.

Tetr’s schedule is a useful maximum-savings reference, not a personal net-price quote. The admissions offer must identify whether the award applies for all four years, which charges are excluded and what conditions apply in later years. The cited Tetr page does not publish award-specific renewal or exclusion rules, so do not assume that an initial percentage automatically continues.

What does Hult publish about scholarship savings?

Hult publishes program-fee totals by campus and intake, but its public scholarship material does not give a universal percentage or dollar amount that can be applied to every applicant. For the 2027–2028 undergraduate intake, the 2026 fees page lists the following totals:

Hult location 2027–2028 total program fees Currency
London 42,590 GBP
Boston 65,590 USD
Dubai 157,800 AED

Hult also lists estimated living expenses separately. The cited public page does not provide a single living-cost figure that can be used for every campus, so those expenses must be added using the budget for the location and housing choice in your offer.

Hult’s October 2025 scholarship policy says, “Institutional merit-based scholarships at Hult cannot be combined to exceed 100% of tuition.” This is a cap on combined institutional merit awards, not a promise that every student can obtain a full-tuition award. The policy says the amount is determined in the student’s offer. Need-based aid is considered case by case, so the final package may differ from a merit-only calculation.

Because Hult publishes a total program-fee figure rather than a standard scholarship schedule, you cannot subtract a publicly stated percentage and produce a dependable Hult net price. Request the written award, then confirm whether it is calculated against tuition alone or another fee component of the program.

Is Tetr’s “up to 100%” better than Hult’s 100% ceiling?

The two statements describe different kinds of information. Tetr advertises a maximum tuition coverage of up to 100%; Hult publishes a maximum combined institutional merit ceiling of 100% of tuition. Neither statement establishes the award an individual applicant will receive.

  • Tetr’s advantage in published planning data: its 2026 schedule gives a four-year tuition number, allowing you to quantify the maximum advertised tuition relief as $121,100.
  • Hult’s advantage in campus specificity: its 2027–2028 page gives separate fee totals for London, Boston and Dubai, so you can start with the correct currency and location.
  • The common limitation: both schools require the applicant’s award letter to determine the actual amount, duration and exclusions.

A headline maximum should therefore be treated as a best-case boundary. Compare the net amount payable under your own offer, not the largest number in either school’s marketing language.

Which Tetr scholarships might apply to an undergraduate applicant?

Tetr lists several profile-based undergraduate routes. Eligibility depends on the evidence described for each route, and the public list does not state a standard award amount for any category.

Profile and achievement routes

  • Outliers: for applicants whose unusual achievements distinguish them from the broader pool.
  • Community Leaders: for demonstrated leadership and community contribution.
  • Entrepreneur & Innovation: for entrepreneurial work or innovation.
  • SAT/ACT Merit: for strong standardized-test performance. The page identifies top-percentile testing as an example of the profile considered.
  • Pathfinders: for applicants who show initiative and a record of creating opportunities.
  • Transfer Students: for students entering with prior college study.

Need and broad merit routes

  • Aspire: a route associated with financial hardship and broader access considerations.
  • Merit Excellence: a general high-achievement route.

These labels help you select the evidence to submit, but they do not tell you whether an award will be partial or full. Ask Tetr to confirm the amount attached to your specific route and whether the same award applies in every year of the program.

What postgraduate scholarship routes does Tetr list?

Tetr’s postgraduate list includes awards aimed at professional impact, academic performance and leadership. The named routes are:

  • Entrepreneurial Impact
  • Business Legacy
  • Global Professionals
  • Academic Distinction & GMAT/GRE
  • Women in Global Leadership
  • Aspire Grant, described as need-based

Tetr also states that scholarships can cover up to 100% of tuition for postgraduate candidates. The four-year undergraduate figures above should not be used to estimate a postgraduate bill; request the fee schedule for the exact postgraduate program and intake.

What scholarship routes does Hult offer?

Hult’s public material describes undergraduate merit-based and need-based aid. For MBA applicants, it names Social Impact, Global Professional, Entrepreneurial Impact and Senior Leaders scholarships.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Hult’s policy treats institutional merit awards as separate considerations but prevents their combined value from exceeding 100% of tuition. Need-based aid is decided case by case. Consequently, a student may be considered for more than one route without being entitled to more than the policy’s tuition ceiling.

Ask Hult whether any non-institutional funding, external sponsorship or need-based component is governed by a different rule. The October 2025 policy specifically addresses institutional merit-based scholarships; your offer and the current policy control the package you actually accept.

How do you compare Tetr and Hult scholarships without overstating savings?

Use the same program level, intake year, study mode and currency before comparing. Then separate tuition from every other charge.

  1. Identify the exact program. Match undergraduate with undergraduate or postgraduate with postgraduate. Do not compare Tetr’s four-year undergraduate schedule with a Hult MBA award.
  2. Match the intake and campus. Tetr’s cited schedule is a 2026 fee page; Hult’s listed undergraduate amounts are for 2027–2028 and vary by London, Boston or Dubai.
  3. List the components separately. Record tuition, program or academic fees, administration charges, immersions, housing, food, books, travel and personal expenses as separate lines.
  4. Record the award exactly as written. Capture the currency, amount or percentage, covered charge, start and end dates, and whether the award is renewable.
  5. Check the ceiling rule. For Hult, institutional merit awards cannot combine above 100% of tuition. For Tetr, “up to 100%” is a maximum and not evidence of a typical award.
  6. Ask about exclusions. Confirm whether fees, deposits, travel, housing, insurance, books or other charges are outside the award.
  7. Ask about renewal. Obtain the required grades, credit load, conduct standards, application deadlines and any annual reassessment in writing.
  8. Convert currencies consistently. Use one dated exchange-rate assumption for comparison, and keep the original currency alongside the converted figure because exchange rates change.
  9. Calculate net payable cost. Subtract only the amount the award actually covers, then add uncovered fees and living costs.
  10. Compare scenarios. Keep a best-case calculation, the written-offer calculation and a no-award contingency budget separate.

A simple worksheet can use net cost = covered program charge − award + uncovered fees + living expenses. For Tetr, if the written award covers the full $121,100 tuition figure, the known remainder starts with $69,800 in other listed fees and $41,900 in estimated living costs. For Hult, replace the award with the figure in your offer and use the campus-specific total in the original currency before converting.

What costs can remain after a full tuition award?

Tuition is only one part of a study budget. A full tuition award can still leave obligations in these categories:

  • Academic and administration charges: Tetr’s published schedule shows $69,800 outside its $121,100 tuition total.
  • Program-specific charges: Immersions, required activities or other charges may be listed separately from tuition; ask the school to identify each one.
  • Housing and food: These are living costs rather than tuition and are not removed by a tuition-only award unless the offer explicitly says so.
  • Books, equipment and personal spending: Budget these independently because a scholarship description may not mention them.
  • Travel and visa-related costs: A multi-campus or international program can create transportation and immigration expenses that are outside published tuition.

Tetr’s $41,900 estimate covers four years of living expenses according to its fee page, but an individual’s housing and travel choices can differ. Hult publishes living expenses separately from its campus program fees, so build a location-specific budget rather than applying Tetr’s figure to Hult.

Which school gives you the more predictable scholarship outcome?

On public information alone, Tetr provides a clearer maximum-dollar calculation for its cited undergraduate schedule, while Hult provides clearer campus-by-campus fee totals. Neither school publishes an applicant-independent award percentage that predicts your result.

If you need a planning ceiling, Tetr’s $121,100 tuition figure shows the largest advertised relief under a full award. If you need to compare locations, Hult’s three currencies and campus totals establish the starting cost. In both cases, predictability begins only when admissions supplies the written amount and conditions.

Do not call one school “cheaper” from the scholarship headline. A smaller award applied to a lower fee total may beat a larger percentage applied only to tuition, and living costs can reverse a comparison between campuses.

What should you ask admissions before accepting an award?

Send the same questions to both schools and keep the replies with your offer documents:

  • What exact dollar, pound or dirham amount is awarded, and is it a percentage of tuition or another charge?
  • Which fees are excluded from the award?
  • Is the award valid for the full program or only the first academic year?
  • What academic, enrollment or conduct requirements renew it?
  • Can it be combined with another institutional, government or external award?
  • What happens if I change campus, defer, transfer, reduce my course load or take a leave?
  • Are deposits, housing, insurance, travel, books and living expenses covered?
  • When can the amount be revised, withdrawn or reassessed?

For Hult, ask the representative to reconcile the answer with the October 2025 institutional-merit ceiling. For Tetr, ask for the written rules because the cited public page does not spell out renewal and exclusion conditions.

How should you present the comparison in your own budget?

Keep three totals for each school:

  1. Published cost: the school’s fee total before aid, retaining the original currency and intake year.
  2. Guaranteed net cost: the amount after subtracting only the scholarship written in your offer and adding all excluded fees.
  3. Full attendance budget: guaranteed net cost plus housing, food, books, travel and personal expenses for the selected campus.

For Tetr’s cited undergraduate schedule, the published figures are $190,900 in listed four-year fees plus $41,900 in estimated living expenses. A full tuition award changes the listed-fee calculation to $69,800 before living expenses. For Hult, begin with GBP42,590, USD65,590 or AED157,800 for the selected campus and add the living estimate supplied for that location; do not insert a scholarship amount until Hult states it in writing.

This format prevents a common error: comparing Tetr’s maximum tuition relief with Hult’s entire program-fee total, or treating either school’s tuition ceiling as a promise of a zero balance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Tetr scholarships automatically renewed each year?

The cited public Tetr page does not state universal renewal rules. Ask for the award’s annual academic, enrollment and conduct conditions in writing; the initial percentage alone does not establish four-year renewal.

Can Hult merit scholarships be combined with one another?

Hult considers institutional merit scholarships separately, but its October 2025 policy limits their combined value to no more than 100% of tuition. Your offer should show how any awards are combined and whether need-based aid follows a different rule.

Do either school’s scholarships pay for living expenses?

The published Tetr maximum is described as tuition coverage, while its $41,900 living estimate is listed separately. Hult likewise presents living expenses separately from program fees; obtain explicit written confirmation before treating housing or food as covered.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Which test scores can support a Tetr scholarship application?

Tetr names an SAT/ACT Merit route and separately lists an Academic Distinction & GMAT/GRE route for postgraduate candidates. The public descriptions do not establish a guaranteed score-to-dollar conversion, so submit the requested scores and ask how they affect your offer.

How should I compare London, Boston and Dubai costs when exchange rates move?

Keep each Hult total in its published currency, choose a dated exchange-rate assumption for your worksheet and record the date. Recalculate before enrollment because currency movements can change the home-currency budget even when the school’s fee in local currency is unchanged.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
