Will it fit in your kitchen?

The named Fresh Case, Smooth Access Shelf, tempered-glass shelves and LED lighting indicate the storage and access features Sharp includes. The available specifications do not establish the dimensions of individual shelves or drawers, their adjustment range, or how much food fits in them. If you have specific containers, tall bottles or bulky items to store, inspect the interior or ask the seller for compartment measurements rather than relying on the headline capacity.

Odour control and other listed features
Plasmacluster Ion and the AG CU Nano deodoriser are listed by Sharp as features, alongside the Hybrid Cooling System, Energy Save Mode and a door alarm. The specification sheet does not provide quantified results for odour reduction, temperature uniformity, noise or energy savings from using a particular mode. Treat these as features to investigate rather than proof of a specific real-world outcome.
How much energy does it use, and what did it cost?
Sharp’s specification sheet lists claimed energy use of 430 kWh per year. CHOICE’s 2016 review record also lists 430 kWh/year and 3.5 energy stars. These are historical product figures, not a current comparison with newly rated refrigerators. Actual electricity cost depends on your tariff and use; multiply the annual kWh figure by your electricity rate for a rough estimate, while remembering that the published consumption is a claim rather than a guarantee of your household’s result.
CHOICE’s 2016 record lists a price of $2,099 and a two-year warranty. Both figures are historical: the price is not a current quote, and the warranty record does not establish what coverage applies to a refrigerator sold today. Its availability is uncertain rather than clearly current. CHOICE labels it a “Discontinued model,” and Winning Appliances says the product is no longer available. However, Sharp Australia’s refrigerator category still displays “581L Top Mount – Silver (SJ-XP580G-SL).” A category listing alone does not establish that new stock is being made or can be ordered.

If you find one offered for sale, verify the status of that exact unit with the seller. Ask whether it is new, old stock, a display unit or refurbished; confirm who is responsible for warranty service; and check whether service parts and repairs are supported in your area.
