Some GeForce RTX 3060 12GB cards returned to retail in 2026, but the available reporting does not confirm a new restock in October. The clearest report is from Germany in June: ASUS said its newly available Dual RTX 3060 12GB OC V2 cards came from new production. That establishes an earlier return, not current stock in every country or a fresh October shipment.
Is the RTX 3060 getting restocked in October 2026?
There is no confirmed October 2026 restock in the available reports. NVIDIA’s regional “Back in Stock” pages can show local models and retailer listings, but they do not establish a new October shipment or inventory across the United States or other markets. Check a dated listing from a retailer or manufacturer in your region before treating the card as available.
What happened with RTX 3060 availability in 2026?
June: reported new-production ASUS cards in Germany
On June 29, 2026, ComputerBase reported that the ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Dual 12GB OC V2 was available from German retailers. The report said ASUS confirmed the stock came from new production. ComputerBase cited a price of €333.64 at the time; that is a historical German price, not a current quote.
June: wider retail-return coverage
Tom’s Hardware also reported on June 29 that RTX 3060 12GB cards were returning to retailers, citing a $339 price. That figure belongs to the report date and does not establish today’s price or stock. Tom’s Hardware also said NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang called the idea of reintroducing older GeForce GPUs “a good idea” at CES 2026; this is the outlet’s account of his remark.

July: a new Palit design, with launch details unconfirmed
On July 15, 2026, VideoCardz reported Palit’s RTX 3060 Infinity 2 OC, a new design retaining 12GB of GDDR6. The report said Palit had not confirmed pricing, a launch date, or regional availability. A new board design is not, by itself, proof that cards are currently on sale.
What the RTX 3060 is
NVIDIA announced the GeForce RTX 3060 on January 12, 2021. It is an Ampere-generation graphics card; the original 12GB model has 3,584 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6 memory, and a 192-bit memory interface. NVIDIA listed a $329 starting price and availability beginning in late February 2021. That was the launch-era starting price, not a current recommended price.

Because availability and pricing vary by market and model, compare the exact card on offer rather than relying on the RTX 3060 name alone.
