There is no dependable price difference to quote from the available comparison listings; check matched Indian variants at the same time before buying.

The figures below come from realme’s Philippines specification page and Samsung India’s product page. Because those pages cover different markets and configurations, verify the exact Indian realme SKU, warranty, network bands, and retail variant before treating its figures as an India-specific offer.

Samsung’s listed panel has the stronger resolution and display technology: it is Super AMOLED at 1080 × 2340, compared with realme’s 720 × 1570 LCD. The realme display has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling—up to 144 Hz versus Samsung’s up to 120 Hz—and a slightly larger nominal diagonal. Resolution, panel type, and refresh rate describe different trade-offs; the specifications alone do not establish which screen will look better to a particular viewer.

Battery capacity and charging are not the same as endurance
Realme lists a typical capacity of 8,000 mAh, compared with Samsung’s 6,000 mAh, and both list 45 W charging. These figures do not establish comparative battery life or charging time, which also depend on factors such as usage, display settings, and charging conditions. Samsung states that its fast charger is sold separately.
Camera hardware: Samsung lists rear OIS
Both phones list a 50 MP main rear camera. Realme pairs it with a 2 MP monochrome camera, while Samsung lists 5 MP and 2 MP additional rear cameras and specifies OIS on the rear camera. Realme lists a 16 MP front camera; Samsung lists 12 MP. Megapixel counts and camera-component lists do not prove photo or video quality. Comparable sample images and video tests would be needed to judge output.

Processor, memory, and storage
The manufacturers identify different processors: Dimensity 6300 for realme and Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for Samsung. Samsung lists CPU speeds of 2.4 GHz and 1.8 GHz. No comparable independent benchmark results are established here, so these specifications do not support a performance-winner claim.
Realme’s cited page lists 8 GB RAM with either 128 GB or 256 GB storage. Samsung lists 6 GB/128 GB, 8 GB/128 GB, and 8 GB/256 GB combinations. Both offer microSD expansion; Samsung specifies a hybrid SIM/microSD slot and support for cards up to 2 TB. Check the exact SKU and slot arrangement if you need two SIMs and a memory card at the same time.

Software support: Samsung states a defined policy
Samsung says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date. Samsung also notes that the policy may change. The cited realme specification page names realme UI 7.0 but does not state a corresponding support duration, so it is not possible to compare official support periods from these pages.
What is the realme 16T vs Galaxy M47 5G price difference?
The comparison listings do not provide a consistent current price. One rendering of 91mobiles shows ₹28,999 for realme 16T 5G and ₹35,999 for Galaxy M47 5G; a Gadgets Now rendering shows different prices and variant combinations, including ₹27,999 and ₹30,999. These conflicting secondary listings are not a reliable live quote, and the figures may not represent equivalent RAM/storage configurations.

For a useful India price comparison, check live retailer listings on the same day and compare the same RAM/storage combination. Subtract the realme price from the Samsung price to find the difference, and confirm the seller, availability, and exact model before ordering. The comparison pages are 91mobiles and Gadgets Now. Samsung’s official India page lists June 29, 2026 as the Galaxy M47 5G date; the cited 91mobiles comparison page lists May 22, 2026 for realme 16T 5G.

- Consider the realme 16T if the listed 8,000 mAh capacity, up-to-144 Hz refresh-rate ceiling, or 16 MP front-camera specification is more important to you. Confirm the Indian variant and its support terms before purchase.
- Consider the Galaxy M47 5G if you prioritize a Super AMOLED Full HD+ display, listed rear-camera OIS, Samsung’s stated OS and security update policy, or its published microSD capacity limit.
- Compare actual prices first if cost is decisive: use matched RAM/storage variants and live Indian retailer prices rather than relying on conflicting comparison-site figures.
