What the ambassadorship covers
Meta’s announcement describes Singh’s role as representing Ray-Ban and Ray-Ban Meta in India. That makes the partnership broader than a smart-glasses endorsement: it includes Ray-Ban’s conventional eyewear as well as its connected glasses. The campaign is titled “Frame Your True Self.” Meta’s October 1 announcement presents the collaboration as a meeting of Ray-Ban’s eyewear identity and Meta’s AI technology.
Singh said in Meta’s announcement: “Ray-Ban has always stood for individuality, and that is something I have connected with for as long as I can remember. Style, for me, has never been about following a fixed formula – it is about instinct, mood and having the freedom to express every version of yourself. A combination of these iconic styles and cutting-edge technology with Ray-Ban Meta, makes this partnership feel so natural. Ray-Ban’s incredible legacy of people who have done things their own way along with Meta’s vision of building AI glasses for everyone – I’m excited to be a part of that story in India.”
Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3: India availability and announced features
Alongside the ambassador appointment, Meta said Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3 is available in India through Meta, Ray-Ban India, and consumer electronics and optical or eyewear retailers, with a starting price of INR 44,300. Meta lists 27 color and lens combinations across Aviator, Zena, and Wayfarer styles. Prices and availability can change, so check with the seller for current details.

Meta said Ray-Ban Meta Audio and its Muse AI agent were coming soon. The October 1 announcement did not describe either as available in India at that time.

Which campaign products are named?
In addition to the three styles Meta named for Ray-Ban Meta Gen 3, Moneycontrol’s October 3 coverage reported that the campaign includes several conventional and smart-glasses models. Those campaign-product details are reported by Moneycontrol, rather than confirmed in Meta’s announcement.
- Conventional eyewear: Ray-Ban Bill Max, Mega Wayfarer II, and CTX oval
- Smart glasses and connected eyewear: Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarer, Aviator, and Blayzer Optics Gen 2

Conventional Ray-Ban frames or Ray-Ban Meta?
The ambassador announcement puts both kinds of eyewear under the same partnership, but they serve different needs. Conventional frames are eyewear; Ray-Ban Meta adds connected functions such as capturing photos and video, listening to audio, calls, and Meta AI access. Consider the added functions and the stated Gen 3 starting price when deciding whether smart glasses suit your needs. Meta’s announcement does not compare fit, comfort, or performance among the Gen 3 styles.
