What is the difference between a PS4 game on PS5 and a PS5 version?

Graphics and frame rate
Do not describe a game as “4K,” “60 fps,” or ray-traced merely because it is running on PS5. Those modes must be listed for the named game by its publisher or patch notes. A PS5 can provide the performance headroom, but the PS4 executable determines what improvements are available.
Loading times
PS5 storage can reduce loading in a compatible PS4 game, and a native PS5 build can be designed around the console’s faster storage architecture. Faster loading alone does not prove that you are running the PS5 edition; check the edition label in your library.

Can I upgrade a PS4 game to the PS5 version?
