Our verdict on Zefort
Zefort is a cloud contract management platform for legal, procurement, compliance, finance and other teams handling business-critical agreements. It brings document storage, contract creation, electronic signatures, approvals, searchable metadata and reminders into one workspace. Its searchable contract intelligence and governance features make it relevant to organizations that need more than a place to store signed files, while the published pricing is aimed at buyers prepared for a substantial recurring commitment.
Search and automation are central to the product’s appeal. Advanced search covers contracts, clauses and metadata, while AI features include metadata extraction, natural-language search, clause analysis and key-date discovery. Team includes Smart OCR, advanced search, activities and reminders, forms, a repository and data export. Enterprise adds AI Custom Metadata, AI Chat, automatic key-date discovery and custom contract terms; Enterprise+ adds playbooks, templates, single tenant and Cloud Data Mirror. Role-based access controls, audit trails, SSO/SAML, two-factor authentication, ISO 27001 and GDPR are among its governance features. The REST API covers contracts, metadata, search and automation, and the integration list includes Azure, DocuSign, Salesforce, SharePoint, Zapier and OpenAI.
