Our verdict on Yandex Maps
Yandex Maps combines consumer mapping with developer services for websites and applications. It is aimed at teams that need interactive maps, place and organization search, address lookup, routing, traffic-aware logistics, static map images or mobile map SDKs. Consumers can use browser and mobile maps for finding places, addresses, routes, traffic conditions and public transport information. Developers can add map fragments, locations and routes to products through embeddable widgets, shareable links and API-based services.
Pricing is usage-based, with a free-use option and commercial licenses organized by daily request limits. The listed plans cover Basic and Advanced licenses for up to 1,000, 10,000, 25,000 or 50,000 daily requests. Each includes the JavaScript API and Geocoder; Advanced licenses also allow data received through the API to be preserved. Commercial pricing starts at 20,800, while the final amount varies by license, request limit and billing period. Free API use is intended for open-access projects and requires visible Yandex attribution, so teams should evaluate those conditions before choosing the no-cost route.
