Our verdict on WebChatAgent
WebChatAgent brings AI chatbot and live chat features to WordPress sites and other websites. Its WordPress plugin places a floating widget site-wide, while a block and shortcode let site owners add chat inline on selected pages. AI answers use website and document content, making the product relevant to small and mid-market businesses seeking automated visitor support alongside a route to human help. Lead capture and appointment booking also suit sites using chat to support sales conversations.
The WordPress plugin is free, and the Free platform plan includes an AI chatbot for a website. According to the vendor’s pricing page, paid monthly plans are Basic at €19, Standard at €35, and Premium at €85; Enterprise is a custom plan. Human takeover begins with Standard, while full live chat and proactive triggers with AI responses are listed for Premium. The product also offers a 14-day free trial, with no card required. Pricing is net and excludes VAT, so buyers should account for tax when comparing costs.
