Our verdict on SecurSSH
SecurSSH is a desktop SSH client and team access platform for engineers and technical organisations that need SSH and SFTP alongside shared credential management. It supports password and key authentication, passphrases, host management, snippets, and reconnect handling. Desktop applications are listed for macOS, Windows, and Linux, making it a fit for teams working across those systems. Its focus extends beyond connecting to hosts: team plans add controls for sharing credentials and collaborating in terminal sessions.
The plan structure separates individual use from team administration. Free costs €0 per month and includes an end-to-end encrypted vault, SSH and SFTP, snippets and startup actions, and smart reconnect. Pro is €9 per month, adding unlimited hosts and groups, a synced personal vault, encrypted import and export, and email support. Team costs €12 per user per month and adds a team vault, three-tier role-based access control, shared team snippets, live collaborative sessions, and a 24-month audit log. Enterprise includes unlimited audit log retention, a 99.9% SLA, a dedicated customer success manager, and assisted onboarding and migration. The published plans make the collaboration features a paid team-level step rather than part of the free offering.
The distinguishing fit is the combination of encrypted vaults, per-vault membership, admin/member/viewer roles, and invite-link collaboration in a desktop client. SFTP also goes beyond a basic connection list with dual-pane local and remote browsing, drag-and-drop, and inline editing; per-host startup actions and configurable reconnect retries help with repeat workflows. SecurSSH says its service is hosted in the European Union, and GDPR is listed. Mobile apps have not yet shipped, so teams that need a mobile SSH client should look elsewhere. Solo users can start with Free or Pro, while teams wanting shared access and session collaboration should consider Team; buyers seeking mobile access should not choose it for that need.
