Our verdict on Recupy
Recupy is cloud-based internet radio software for individual broadcasters, community stations, and corporate radio teams. It combines browser-based WebDJ broadcasting with AutoDJ playback, automatic live-stream switchover, scheduling, playlist and media management, listener analytics, embedded players, podcast publishing, song requests, and multi-mount streaming. Stations can operate without keeping the operator’s computer online, making it suited to teams that need scheduled programming alongside live shows.
Pricing is organized across four tiers, with monthly and annual billing. Starter costs $19 per month or $190 per year and includes 500 concurrent listeners, 3 GB of storage, 128 kbps quality, a radio web page, one DJ account, statistics, and an embed player. Pro costs $39 per month or $390 per year, raising capacity to 2,500 concurrent listeners and 15 GB of storage while adding 192 kbps and AAC quality, a full radio website/CMS, multiple DJ accounts, and the podcast module. Business costs $79 per month or $790 per year and adds 10,000 concurrent listeners, 50 GB of storage, 320 kbps quality, iOS and Android apps, three stations, and roles and permissions. Enterprise costs $149 per month and includes 25,000+ concurrent listeners, 200+ GB of storage, unlimited stations, remote relays, and a Chrome extension.
The platform fits broadcasters that need more than a basic stream, particularly those managing scheduled content, multiple DJs, listener requests, podcasts, or detailed audience reporting. TuneIn, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, and Telegram integrations extend its distribution and community options, while web, iOS, Android, and Chrome extension support cover several listening and broadcasting contexts. Starter is a reasonable match for a single broadcaster with a smaller audience; teams needing higher listener limits, multiple stations, mobile apps, or permission controls should consider the paid upgrades. Recupy is less suitable for buyers seeking a free plan or a minimal hosting service without scheduling and station-management features.
