QuoteWerks review
A mature CPQ and proposal suite for complex, procurement-heavy sales workflows.

QuoteWerks is CPQ and proposal software for sales teams selling configurable products or services. It combines professional quote creation with product and pricing management, bundles, guided configuration, approval workflows, interactive online proposals, electronic signatures, client activity tracking, and payment collection. Its procurement and distributor-pricing capabilities make it particularly relevant to IT service providers, value-added resellers, manufacturers, and other service-based organizations with structured purchasing processes.
Pricing is based on concurrent users rather than named users. Essential costs $50 USD per concurrent user per month when billed monthly and includes unlimited quotes, unlimited named users, bundles and configurator tools, CRM and PSA integrations, approval workflows, and purchase orders. Balanced costs $78 USD per concurrent user per month and adds QuoteValet, quote-view and acceptance tracking, online acceptance, e-signature, and credit card and ACH payment collection. Pinnacle costs $102 USD per concurrent user per month and adds automatic U.S. sales tax rates, IT/MSP distributor content, Amazon Business integration, procurement tracking, and online ordering. There is no free plan, so the higher tiers make the most sense when digital acceptance, payments, distributor content, or procurement are central to the sales process.
The platform spans web, Windows, and API access, with integrations for Autotask PSA, ConnectWise PSA, HubSpot CRM, Pipedrive, Salesforce, ZohoCRM, QuickBooks Online, shipping providers, distributors, Amazon Business, Pax8, and Zapier. Dashboards, management reports, data exports, document audit trails, and client engagement notifications support operational oversight beyond proposal creation. Founded in 1993, QuoteWerks suits teams that need quoting connected to CRM, PSA, purchasing, and payment workflows. Smaller teams seeking a free or simpler proposal-only tool may find its paid, concurrent-user structure and broad feature set less appropriate.
