MSP360 Managed Backup review
A centralized, per-device backup service for hybrid infrastructure and endpoint recovery.

MSP360 Managed Backup is a centralized backup and disaster recovery service for managed service providers and IT departments. It supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with coverage for physical devices, virtual machines, and workloads including VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and SQL Server. Its per-device licensing and centralized web console fit administrators responsible for multiple systems or customer environments.
The published plans show monthly and annual Managed Backup options with the same listed highlights: centralized web-console administration, file and image-based backup, and per-device licensing. Pricing is personalized through contact sales, and there is no free plan. The service can send backups to Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, Google Cloud, IDrive e2, S3-compatible storage, local destinations, network shares, and NAS devices. MSP360 RMM and MSP360 PSA tools are also supported for operational workflows.
Recovery depth is a central strength. File-level and image-based backups are complemented by incremental imaging, synthetic full backups, AES-encrypted backup images, retention policies, and reporting. Bare-metal restore can target new hardware or virtual machines, while bootable USB or ISO media supports recovery when a system cannot start normally. This makes the product a strong fit for infrastructure administrators who need centralized control across mixed operating systems and storage targets. Organizations primarily seeking backup for SaaS applications rather than endpoints, servers, and virtual infrastructure should choose a more narrowly aligned alternative.
