Klennet Carver is Windows data recovery software for reconstructing fragmented files when a filesystem is badly damaged. It is particularly suited to digital-camera and dash-camera memory cards, but it can also scan hard drives, whole-disk image files, and VHD/VHDX disk images. Supported formats include JPEG, Canon CR2, Nikon NEF, MP4, MOV, 3GP, AVI, MPEG-2, DAV, ZIP, DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX. Home users and recovery professionals can preview recoverable images and videos before purchase, while the evaluation version does not copy recovered files out.
Pricing is straightforward and one-time. The Personal use license costs $39 and is for home users, including 30 days of support and updates. Commercial use costs $199 for data recovery services and forensic use; its first-time license includes one year of support and updates.
