Our verdict on KioskGrid
KioskGrid turns company-owned Android tablets into managed kiosks controlled from a web console. It is designed for reception check-in, digital signage, customer self-service, internal dashboards, training devices, and branch or field tablets. Administrators can lock devices to websites, dashboards, forms, menus, internal web apps, video, YouTube, or fullscreen looping content. QR-code activation supports new or factory-reset Android devices, giving teams a direct provisioning path for supported hardware.
The feature set is centered on remote control rather than content creation. KioskGrid can install and update APKs, inspect installed packages, control apps, reboot devices, display on-screen messages, request screenshots, view device status, and show device locations on a map. Remote file browsing and uploads extend management beyond the kiosk screen, while Android display, connectivity, privacy, and tamper-resistance controls address common lockdown requirements. Queued commands add practical coverage for devices that are temporarily offline, although actions depend on the device reconnecting.
