Our verdict on Trio Kiosk Management

Trio Kiosk Management centralizes the administration of tablets, phones, desktops, and other shared endpoints. It is designed for IT teams managing retail, education, healthcare, public-facing, and similar deployments across Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android. Administrators can configure single-app, multi-app, web kiosk, and digital-signage modes, control approved applications and browser access, and manage peripherals, displays, power, settings, and network behavior from a web console.

Pricing is organized into three monthly per-device plans. Essentials costs $5 per device per month and includes the main admin dashboard and widgets, software deployment, kiosk mode, zero-touch onboarding, and audit logs. Secure costs $8 per device per month and adds compliance monitoring, automated remediation, patch and vulnerability management, and MFA configuration. Zero Trust costs $11 per device per month and adds conditional access, location-aware policies, device login controls for macOS and Windows, and asset management. A 14-day free trial is available, while paid tiers build security controls onto the core kiosk administration features.

The product’s strongest fit is a mixed-device fleet that needs more than screen lockdown. Remote reboot, reset, refresh, configuration, application installation, and updates support ongoing administration, while status and compliance monitoring provide operational visibility. Factory-reset protection and remote lost-device lock or wipe address device recovery concerns. Integrations include Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, SCIM, Splunk, Vanta, and others. Choose Trio when cross-platform coverage and security controls matter; a simpler kiosk tool may be preferable for a small deployment needing only basic app or browser lockdown.
