Huginn is an open-source task automation system for people who want to run automation on their own server. Its agents can read web content, monitor changes and events, transform data, and trigger actions. The product is suited to technical users building recurring tasks, notifications, webhook flows, scheduled digests, API interactions, and event-driven workflows. Agents connect in directed graphs, giving Huginn a broader workflow model than a single-purpose scheduler.
Its main strength is the depth of its automation building blocks. Huginn supports website scraping and change monitoring, scheduled runs, webhook input and output, custom JavaScript execution, HTTP and API integrations, and Docker-based deployment.
