Our verdict on FortiDLP
FortiDLP is a cloud-native endpoint data loss prevention product for organizations protecting sensitive information across Windows, macOS, Linux, cloud drives, SaaS applications, and GenAI tools. It is aimed at security teams that need visibility into data movement alongside controls for web, email, printers, clipboard, and removable media. The platform combines real-time content and context inspection with data-origin tracking, lineage, incident timelines, case management, and forensic evidence capture.
FortiDLP uses contact-sales pricing across four published plans. Core includes endpoint DLP, real-time content inspection, SaaS and GenAI application inventory, Secure Data Flow, and Data Lineage. Advanced adds user behavior monitoring, insider-threat sequence detection, screenshot evidence capture, and enterprise cloud drive integrations. Advanced with Premium Hosting adds premium hosting locations, while Advanced with Managed Service adds managed service, risk reports, and Best Practices Service. New customers require Best Practices Service during the first year.
