Our verdict on Degoo
Degoo is a cloud storage and backup service for individuals who want to keep photos, videos, documents, music, and other files online. Its strongest fit is mobile-first photo backup: automatic photo-folder uploads, an AI-powered discovery feed, sharing tools, and a photo storage maximizer support a photo-centered workflow. Access is available through the web, iOS, and Android, with zero-knowledge encryption available across the service's plans.
The Free plan provides 20 GB of cloud space for up to 3 devices, along with web app access, zero-knowledge encryption, and a 90-day account inactivity period. Pro costs $2.99 per month and raises storage to 500 GB for 10 devices, while adding files stored forever and enhanced storage replication. Ultimate costs $9.99 per month and provides 5,000 GB, unlimited devices, files stored forever, enhanced storage replication, and zero-knowledge encryption. The paid tiers make the clearest case for users who need more space, longer retention, or broader device coverage.
Degoo's feature set stays focused on personal storage, backup, photos, and sharing rather than a wider productivity or business ecosystem. Its platform coverage is limited to web, iOS, and Android, and the service does not provide file versioning, integrations, or business controls. That makes it a straightforward choice for individuals prioritizing photo backup, encrypted sharing, and large storage allowances on mobile devices. Users who need desktop platforms, connected third-party workflows, document history, or administrative features should choose a service designed around those requirements instead.
