Our verdict on Datamolino
Datamolino is a cloud-based document-processing application for businesses, accountants and bookkeepers. It captures bills, receipts, sales invoices and bank statements through email, web uploads and mobile scans, then extracts accounting data for export. The product is suited to small businesses that want mobile document capture alongside accounting workflows, as well as accounting professionals managing documents for one company at a time. Access is available through the web, iOS, Android and API interfaces, and users can upload documents by email, web or mobile.
Pricing is monthly and starts with the Start plan at $20 per month for 100 bills and receipts, one company and unlimited users. Build costs $35 per month for 250 bills and receipts, while Grow costs $65 per month for 500. Each of those plans has a corresponding line-item version: Start with line items at $45 per month, Build with line items at $95, and Grow with line items at $180. These versions add line-item extraction with descriptions, quantities and amounts.
