Our verdict on Cryotos

Cryotos is a cloud-based computerized maintenance management system for maintenance teams in manufacturing, facilities, healthcare, automotive, field service and other asset-intensive organizations. Its coverage spans work requests and work orders, preventive maintenance, asset records, downtime analysis, spare-parts inventory, workflow automation and reporting. Web access and Android and iOS apps support office and field workflows, while REST API access is available for integrations. Teams that need mobile task execution plus formal maintenance processes are its clearest fit.

Mobile execution is a notable strength: technicians can access work orders, scan QR codes, log labor hours, capture media and update task status, with offline support on Starter and synchronization for mobile work. Scheduling can be based on time, usage or condition, including AND/OR logic. Workflow automation adds conditional rules, notifications and approvals; the product also tracks downtime and supports MTTR, MTBF, OEE, root-cause and CAPA reporting. For teams that need maintenance records linked to operational performance, these capabilities offer more depth than a basic request-and-close workflow.

According to the vendor's pricing page, monthly plans are Basic at $29 per user per month, Starter at $39 and Professional at $69; annual prices are $320, $420 and $720 per user per year, respectively. Basic covers requests, breakdown maintenance, checklists, workflow automation and parts-replaced lists. Starter adds preventive maintenance, asset management, offline mobile support, QR scanning and history. Professional adds API integration, inventory management, GPS tracking, dynamic reports and 24/7 support. Enterprise lists ERP and SSO integration, BI reporting, IoT monitoring and custom notifications, without a displayed price. A seven-day trial is offered. Cryotos suits teams seeking mobile workflows and structured maintenance; organizations needing inventory or API integration must budget for Professional or above, while those seeking a clearly priced Enterprise tier may prefer another option.
