Our verdict on Crowd Connected
Crowd Connected is a location intelligence platform for organisations managing buildings, venues and physical spaces. It combines indoor and outdoor positioning with blue-dot navigation, real-time people and asset tracking, attendee and session tracking, occupancy counting, and movement analytics. Event organisers, hospitals, universities and venues can use it for wayfinding, space utilisation, footfall analysis, dwell-time reporting and location-based notifications. The platform is available through a web console, mobile SDKs, Bluetooth beacon infrastructure, APIs and data exports, with support for web, iOS and Android experiences.
Its plan structure covers different indoor-positioning and event requirements. The Free plan is free forever and supports indoor positioning testing. Starter adds unlimited floorplans and indoor positioning for buildings, while Basic offers a fixed price for smaller buildings with unlimited floorplans. Standard uses per-square-metre pricing and also includes unlimited floorplans. Enterprise is positioned as a managed service. Separate attendee-tracking plans cost £8 or $10 per delegate and include license and hardware rental; Event Apps - Small includes a mobile SDK licence fee and beacon rental.
