Crowd Connected review
A focused platform for indoor movement, occupancy and event analytics.

Crowd Connected is a location intelligence platform for organisations managing buildings, venues and physical spaces. It combines indoor and outdoor positioning with blue-dot navigation, real-time people and asset tracking, attendee and session tracking, occupancy counting, and movement analytics. Event organisers, hospitals, universities and venues can use it for wayfinding, space utilisation, footfall analysis, dwell-time reporting and location-based notifications. The platform is available through a web console, mobile SDKs, Bluetooth beacon infrastructure, APIs and data exports, with support for web, iOS and Android experiences.
Its plan structure covers different indoor-positioning and event requirements. The Free plan is free forever and supports indoor positioning testing. Starter adds unlimited floorplans and indoor positioning for buildings, while Basic offers a fixed price for smaller buildings with unlimited floorplans. Standard uses per-square-metre pricing and also includes unlimited floorplans. Enterprise is positioned as a managed service. Separate attendee-tracking plans cost £8 or $10 per delegate and include license and hardware rental; Event Apps - Small includes a mobile SDK licence fee and beacon rental. The published pricing structure therefore suits pilots, building deployments and delegate-based event projects, though the applicable currency varies by region or quote.
The strongest fit is for indoor movement intelligence rather than broad market or territory analysis. Heatmaps, footfall, dwell-time and flow analytics can help teams understand how people move through a space, while occupancy and people counting address utilisation questions. Beacon management and self-calibration support the positioning infrastructure, and geo-targeted push notifications extend the platform into visitor communications. Integrations include MapsPeople, Mazemap, Mappedin, Power BI and Tableau, alongside messaging services such as Firebase, OneSignal and AWS Pinpoint. Choose Crowd Connected when indoor navigation, tracking or event analytics is central; choose another category fit when the priority is territory, catchment or demographic intelligence.
