Our verdict on ClickTime
ClickTime is a cloud-based employee time tracking platform for finance teams, professional services firms, nonprofits, governments, and organizations with distributed or complex workforces. Employees can enter time through web and mobile interfaces against clients, projects, and tasks. Managers can review, approve, reject, and lock timesheets, while finance teams can track billable and non-billable hours, billing rates, employee cost rates, and payroll exports.
Reporting is a central strength. Starter includes 70+ reports, email reminders, and a mobile app, while Team adds approval workflows, advanced billing rates, time-off management, and automated time tracking. Premier adds project budgeting, resource management, Report Studio, and ClickTime AI. ClickTime also offers time-off approvals, expense management, automated time capture from supported tools, and an API for custom integrations.
