BuyBack is a web-based device buyback service for individuals and organizations selling used electronics. Sellers choose a device and describe its condition to receive an instant quote, then send it with a prepaid shipping label. Its categories include smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, Macs, AirPods and select accessories; damaged and nonfunctional devices are also eligible. The service suits people who want a direct sale process rather than listing an item for buyers to browse and negotiate over.
The transaction is built around shipping and inspection. BuyBack provides a prepaid USPS label and says shipping is insured. After the device arrives, inspection may result in a revised offer if its condition differs from the seller's description. Sellers can accept payment by PayPal, Venmo, ACH bank transfer or mailed check. If they decline a revised offer, return shipping is free. Those terms make the process relatively clear, but the final amount can differ from the initial quote, so sellers should describe condition carefully and be prepared to decide after inspection.
