BuildWorkPro is a cloud-based construction management platform for specialty subcontractors. It connects construction CRM and contact management with configurable sales pipelines, lead capture, lead-to-bid conversion, bidding, estimating, project phases, tasks, Gantt scheduling, pay applications, change-order approvals, site logs, time tracking, reports, document management, and QuickBooks Online synchronization. Its workflow is aimed at trades including glazing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, concrete, framing, and roofing. Small contractors that want customer and project work connected in one system are the clearest fit.

Pricing is straightforward. The BuildWorkPro plan costs $79 per month with monthly billing, or $790 per year with annual billing. Both published options include unlimited users, projects, and contacts, along with bids and estimates, sales pipeline and CRM functions, and QuickBooks sync. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. The product also supports Gmail, Google Calendar, a REST API, webhooks, and OAuth 2.1, giving teams options for connecting communication, calendars, accounting, and custom workflows. Listed AI integrations include Claude, ChatGPT, Grok Bot, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, and Documenso.

The main strength is breadth: BuildWorkPro follows work from invitations and walkthroughs through bids, won projects, scheduling, field records, pay applications, and change orders. That makes it more suitable for firms that need a connected CRM-to-project process than for teams seeking a narrow contact database. The main tradeoff is access in the field. The product is web-based, and native iOS and Android apps are not currently available, which may make it less suitable for contractors whose crews require dedicated mobile workflows. Choose it for broad web-based construction operations; consider an alternative if native mobile apps are essential.

BuildWorkPro pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Combines CRM, bidding, estimating, scheduling, and project administration
    • Unlimited users, projects, and contacts on both published plans
    • QuickBooks Online sync plus REST API and webhook access
  • Where it doesn't
    • No native iOS or Android apps are currently available
    • There is no free plan
    • The feature set may exceed the needs of contractors seeking only basic CRM
