Our verdict on AxisNow Multi-Edge
AxisNow Multi-Edge is a multi-CDN control platform for routing application and API traffic across multiple CDN providers. It is aimed at teams that want DNS-based traffic control, provider flexibility, and a central view of operational metrics without managing each CDN separately. Routing policies can use latency, availability, cost, and guaranteed-minimum criteria. The platform is available through the web and API, and teams can use their own CDN cloud accounts or AxisNow's account.
Pricing is structured as Starter, Business, and Enterprise. Starter is a free plan supporting up to 10 domains by hostname, with a one-day activity log and community support. Business is listed at $5 USD per domain per month and includes everything in Starter, a seven-day activity log, prioritized support, and an optional active-device add-on. Enterprise adds an Enhanced Admin API, customized prices and payment, a custom activity log, enterprise-level support, and an optional fully self-hosted deployment. This progression makes the service accessible for smaller deployments while reserving deeper administration and deployment control for larger requirements.
