Our verdict on AnyDesk

AnyDesk provides remote desktop access for individuals, IT teams, support organizations, and businesses. It supports interactive sessions that require user approval as well as unattended access using password authentication. Core capabilities include remote control, screen sharing, file transfer, local session recording, address books, two-factor authentication, access control lists, privacy mode, permission profiles, Wake-on-LAN, and mobile device support. Native clients cover Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, iOS, ChromeOS, Raspberry Pi, and Apple TV, with platform-specific limitations. Established teams managing endpoints and support requests are the clearest fit.

The published plans show a freemium structure, with the free offering intended for personal use and professional use requiring a paid license. Solo costs $23.12 per user per month with annual billing and includes one concurrent connection, one licensed user, three registered devices to connect from, 100 managed devices for unattended access, unlimited interactive-access connections, and mobile device platforms. Standard costs $39.92 per connection per month annually and adds file transfer, session recording, up to 20 users, and 500 managed devices. Advanced costs $89.52 per month annually and adds up to 100 users, 1,000 managed devices, command-line access, MSI mass deployment, and Windows Group Policy. Ultimate starts with five licensed users and includes 2,000 managed devices, single sign-on, hosting options, integrations, and dedicated support.

AnyDesk’s ecosystem fit is practical for organizations that need a mix of operating systems, mobile support, and business administration. Salesforce, Freshworks, CRM systems, and ITSM systems are supported through available integrations, while higher tiers add administration, customization, mobile-device support, and deployment controls. The main trade-off is plan selection: connection, user, and managed-device allowances change substantially by tier, and annual billing applies throughout. Choose AnyDesk if remote support and endpoint access span several platforms; consider an alternative if your needs do not justify a paid professional license or if platform-specific client limitations conflict with your workflow.
