The difference between gross and storage volume is important. Shelves, drawers, evaporator space and internal fittings consume part of the gross figure, leaving 445L for rated storage. The 99L freezer-storage figure is much lower than the 153L gross freezer volume, so compare alternatives by usable capacity rather than the headline 547L.
Does it have an inverter compressor and ECONAVI?
Yes. Panasonic documents inverter compression and ECONAVI for the family. Inverter control varies compressor rotation instead of relying only on an on/off cycle, while ECONAVI sensors monitor usage conditions and provide information for power-output adjustments. The 99L rated freezer storage is adequate for routine frozen food but may feel tight if you bulk-buy or freeze large batches. A drawer freezer also needs clear floor space in front of the cabinet; measure that path in addition to the 770mm cabinet width. Check that both upper doors and the freezer drawer can open fully without striking a wall, island or adjacent appliance.

- Measure the final alcove depth, leaving space for the power cord, ventilation and door movement.
- Confirm that the floor can support an approximately 89kg appliance plus its contents.
- Plan a two-person or professional move; do not attempt to tilt or carry this cabinet alone.
Panasonic’s published dimensions are product dimensions, not a universal installation-clearance specification. Follow the local manual’s ventilation instructions and ask the seller whether rear spacers or other fittings are still present.

Can you still get Panasonic NR-CY54BGKAU parts and service?
