Its main draws are a fourth-generation Snapdragon 8s Fengchi Edition platform, a single-cell battery rated at 9000mAh typical and 8760mAh rated, and support for up to 165Hz in selected games. Those headline figures describe manufacturer specifications and supported modes—not independent performance results or a promise that every game runs at 165 frames per second.
When did the OnePlus Turbo 6 launch?

How large is the battery, and how fast does it charge?
OnePlus lists a single-cell battery with a typical capacity of 9000mAh (33.48Wh) and a rated capacity of 8760mAh (32.59Wh). These are the manufacturer’s specifications, not two separate batteries.
- Wired charging: Up to 80W. OnePlus says charging power varies by scenario; its laboratory charging tests use the official charger, screen off, and specified temperature conditions.
- Wired reverse charging: Up to 27W for devices tested by OnePlus. The reverse-charging cable is sold separately.
What OnePlus says about battery life
OnePlus estimates that a full charge can provide 10.6 hours of play in a large MOBA title at 120 frames per second and high image quality, 18 hours of navigation, or 22.5 hours of short-video playback. These are company laboratory estimates, not independent test results. OnePlus says actual runtime varies with the environment, game settings, and usage habits.
Does the Turbo 6 support 165Hz gaming?
OnePlus advertises 165-frame gaming for selected supported games and lists other titles with modes up to 144 frames. The maximum applies to supported titles and modes, not every game. Actual support and experience depend on the game and settings, so a 165Hz or high-frame-rate claim should not be read as a universal guarantee of 165 frames per second in play.

What else does the specification page list?
- Camera: A 50-megapixel main camera. The specification establishes the resolution, not an independent assessment of image quality.
- Software: ColorOS 16. Features and interfaces can vary by software version or market.
- Water and dust ratings: OnePlus reports IP66, IP68, and IP69 under China’s GB/T 4208-2017 standard, plus IP69K testing under ISO 20653:2023.
- Environmental testing: OnePlus says the phone passed seven environmental tests under the GJB 150A-2009 system.
How to interpret the durability claims
The IP ratings are tied to specified controlled tests; they are not permission to submerge the phone or charge it while wet. OnePlus warns that everyday conditions differ from laboratory tests and resistance may diminish with wear. It also cautions that passing environmental tests does not prevent damage from drops.
