Which phone has the better cameras?
Nothing Phone (4a): more listed rear-camera options
91mobiles lists a main camera, a periscope telephoto with up to 3.5x optical zoom, and an ultrawide camera for the Phone (4a). That gives it more stated flexibility for distant subjects and wide scenes than the two-camera setup listed for the vivo. These are hardware specifications, not a guarantee of better photos in every situation.
vivo S2: main camera and secondary sensor
vivo lists a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP secondary rear camera, along with a 32MP front camera. Both phones are listed with 32MP front cameras, but matching resolution figures do not prove that selfies will look alike. Sensor, lens, processing, and shooting conditions also affect results.

Which has the better battery and display?
Battery capacity versus charging power
vivo lists a 7,050mAh battery and 44W charging for the S2; 91mobiles lists 5,400mAh and 50W for the Phone (4a). The vivo therefore has the larger published capacity, while the Nothing has the higher listed charging wattage. Neither figure alone establishes real-world battery life or charging time: usage, software, and charging conditions matter, and no comparable independent battery test is established here.
vivo also says its laboratory tests found at least 80% battery capacity retained after 1,600 complete charge cycles. The manufacturer cautions that results may vary with test equipment, environment, and usage; this is a vivo lab claim, not a real-world guarantee. Similar refresh rate, slightly different size
The comparison lists the Nothing display at 6.78 inches and 120Hz; vivo lists the S2 display at 6.83 inches and up to 120Hz. The diagonal difference is small. The panel descriptions are not identical—91mobiles calls the Nothing screen flexible AMOLED, while vivo specifies AMOLED—so do not treat the labels as proof of a direct panel-quality comparison.

Processors and software
The listed processors are Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 for the Nothing and MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo for the vivo. Those model names alone do not settle which phone performs better in everyday use, gaming, or sustained workloads; compare independent tests using the same conditions if performance is decisive. The software experience also differs: the Nothing runs Nothing OS, while vivo lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6 for the S2. Check which software build and support terms apply in your country.
Configurations and update terms
Available storage configurations vary by source and market. vivo’s India specifications list 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB; Nothing’s UK page shows 8GB/128GB, while 91mobiles lists 128GB and 256GB options. Confirm the RAM and storage on the exact listing you plan to buy.
vivo’s India overview states a commitment to three generations of OS updates and five years of security updates, with the three-year period counted from the local launch event date. Verify that these terms apply to the regional S2 you are considering. The cited materials do not establish comparable update terms for the Phone (4a).
Water and dust resistance
vivo’s India specifications list IP68 and IP69 ratings, but the manufacturer warns: “The resistance to water, water jets and dust is not permanent and may be reduced with daily use.” A rating is not a promise that liquid damage is covered by warranty. Check the warranty terms in your market.

The ₹5,000 difference between the two India figures is only the arithmetic difference between those displayed prices; it is not a dependable current price gap because the Nothing listing is marked out of stock and the vivo reference does not confirm a current purchasable offer.
