Use four official routes, not one universal calendar: Nintendo Today!’s Event Schedule shows scheduled items, the regional News & Events page carries dated announcements and rules, the Nintendo Direct archive leads to Direct presentations and replays, and separate pages host Indie World and Treehouse videos. Which route is correct depends on the event format and your country.
For an upcoming date, start with Nintendo Today! and then open the matching News & Events post. For a video, go directly to the relevant presentation page. Nintendo’s pages do not promise that one calendar contains every event worldwide, so verify the event’s region, format and date before assuming it will be streamed.
Where is Nintendo’s official event calendar?
Nintendo Today! is Nintendo’s official calendar route. In the app, open Event Schedule to see scheduled Nintendo items, including examples such as game release dates. Nintendo also lets you link the in-app calendar to Google Calendar on Android or Calendar on iOS, placing those scheduled items beside your personal appointments. What you need for Nintendo Today!
- A Nintendo Account.
- A compatible smart device with persistent internet access.
- iOS 16.0 or later, or Android 10.0 or later.
- The Nintendo Today! app, which Nintendo describes as free.
Calendar linking is optional. Nintendo identifies Google Calendar for Android and Apple’s Calendar for iOS; the feature does not establish that Nintendo sends every type of event alert or that all event formats are represented.
How do I get the official time, rules and regional details?
Open the relevant regional News & Events listing, then select the individual post. The US listing is at Nintendo News & Events. A post can provide the exact date and time, venue, eligibility requirements, registration path, rules and any viewing instructions that a calendar entry cannot show.
Use your own country’s Nintendo site when possible. Event availability, local times, age or eligibility rules and whether an activity is in person can differ by region. A US announcement is evidence for the US event described in that post, not a worldwide schedule.

- Nintendo’s October 26, 2026 US announcement describes the November 7, 2026 Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast tournament. It directs eligible players to registration through Tournament Manager in SplatNet 3 in the Nintendo Switch App.
- The tournament’s official rules specify a 10 a.m. to approximately noon Pacific Time window. That is a participation schedule, not proof that Nintendo will broadcast the competition.
- A separate October 29, 2026 post covers an in-person Pikmin activation in Nashville. An in-person listing should not be treated as a livestream announcement.
Read the post all the way through before sharing a time or a link. The event page, rather than a social-media summary or a calendar label, is where Nintendo states whether registration, attendance or viewing is intended.
Where can I watch or rewatch a Nintendo Direct?
Go to the US Nintendo Direct archive, choose a presentation by title and date, and open its presentation page. That page is the durable starting point for the official video and related material. Using an archived presentation page
- Open the archive and scan the dated entries instead of relying on a search result that may omit older presentations.
- Select the exact Direct title and date.
- On the presentation page, start the embedded video player or follow the page’s associated links.
- Check the description and related links for companion coverage such as Treehouse: Live.
The inspected September 9, 2026 US Direct page embeds a YouTube player, links to associated Treehouse: Live coverage and identifies Nintendo Today! as another way to watch that presentation, subject to the app’s account, device and country qualifications. Start with the segment labels on that page. They can take you to a specific game demonstration without requiring you to scrub through an entire presentation. A Treehouse page may be linked from a Direct presentation, but it remains a separate video format with its own page and date.
What is the difference between a Direct, Indie World, Treehouse stream and a tournament?
These labels describe different kinds of Nintendo activity. Identifying the format first prevents you from using the wrong archive or assuming that an event intended for participants is automatically a broadcast.

How can I identify the latest Nintendo event without mixing formats?
Check both the date and the format. On the inspected US pages, the Direct archive placed a September 9, 2026 Direct at the top, while Nintendo separately published an Indie World Showcase on October 28, 2026. Therefore “latest Direct” and “latest Nintendo showcase” are not interchangeable labels.
- Decide whether you mean Direct, Indie World, Treehouse, a tournament or an in-person activity.
- Open that format’s official page and note the date printed on the page, not just the date in a search snippet.
- Confirm the regional site. A US date and time may not describe the event in another country.
- Use “upcoming” only when Nintendo has actually published a future event notice. Do not turn an old example into a new appointment.
For context, Nintendo’s September 9, 2026 Direct example was scheduled for 7 a.m. Pacific Time / 10 a.m. Eastern Time. Those times describe that past presentation and should not be copied as the schedule for a future Direct.

- Switch to the regional Nintendo site used by the announcement.
