Tubi added a substantial selection of DC animated movies to its free, ad-supported catalog, with the largest reported wave arriving in January 2025. The lineup included films such as Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: War, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, All-Star Superman, and Constantine: City of Demons.
That does not mean every title remains available today. Tubi’s catalog changes by date and region, and title pages checked for several of these films on August 12, 2026, displayed “content unavailable.” Search for the exact movie in Tubi immediately before planning a marathon.
What Tubi added
Tubi’s DC animation catalog expanded in stages. On December 12, 2023, Tubi announced an expanded Warner Bros. Discovery content deal and identified six DC animated movies coming to its free, ad-supported on-demand service:

A much larger group was reported as available on Tubi in January 2025. Reports described more than a dozen DC animated features spanning different eras, continuities, ratings, and styles. Tubi’s model is free viewing supported by advertising rather than a conventional paid subscription requirement.

DC animated movies reported in the 2025 Tubi lineup
The following titles were named in contemporary coverage of the expanded catalog. Treat this as a guide to the reported lineup, not a guarantee that every film is still playable on Tubi.
Superman-focused movies
- Superman: Doomsday (2007): An adaptation centered on Superman’s apparent sacrifice and the consequences of his return.
- Superman: Man of Tomorrow (2020): A young Clark Kent faces threats including Lobo and Parasite while learning what it means to become Superman.
- Reign of the Supermen (2019): The story follows the aftermath of Superman’s death and the appearance of several possible successors.
- All-Star Superman (2011): A self-contained adaptation of Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s acclaimed comic.
- Superman: Red Son (2020): An Elseworlds-style reimagining that asks how Superman’s life might have changed if he had landed in the Soviet Union instead of the United States.
These films are not one continuous story. Superman: Doomsday and Reign of the Supermen are connected thematically and through their treatment of Superman’s death, while All-Star Superman and Superman: Red Son are separate adaptations with their own premises.

Justice League and team stories
- Justice League: War (2014): Heroes unite for the first time to confront an alien threat. It belongs to the early shared-continuity period commonly called the DC Animated Movie Universe.
- Justice League: The New Frontier (2008): A period-flavored interpretation based on Darwyn Cooke’s DC story, rather than a chapter in the same continuity as Justice League: War.
- Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015): An alternate-universe take on the team with substantially different versions of familiar characters.
- Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox (2013): One of the six films Tubi announced in December 2023, built around Barry Allen’s attempt to alter history and the dangerous reality that follows.
Do not watch these simply in the order they appear in Tubi’s search results. Character names and the “Justice League” label do not indicate a single chronological sequence. Justice League: War, The New Frontier, and Gods and Monsters represent different creative and continuity frameworks.
Wonder Woman and supernatural stories
- Wonder Woman: Bloodlines (2019): Diana helps a troubled young woman connected to Villainy, Inc. The film is listed as PG-13.
- Constantine: City of Demons (2018): A darker supernatural story involving John Constantine and Chas. Tubi metadata lists it as R-rated, so it is not a general-audience pick.
Wonder Woman: Bloodlines is a useful choice for viewers who want a Diana-led feature. Constantine: City of Demons is better suited to adults looking for horror-tinged DC animation. Neither title should be treated as a continuation of the other.

Additional standalone and crossover-style films
- Batman: Death in the Family
- DC Showcase: Superman/Shazam!: The Return of Black Adam
- Son of Batman
- Superman/Batman: Public Enemies
- The Death of Superman
- Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox
The reported selection mixed older direct-to-video productions, newer adaptations, DC Animated Movie Universe entries, standalone stories, and alternate-universe interpretations. It was therefore a broad sampling of DC animation—not a complete collection and not a carefully ordered franchise marathon.
Are these DC animated movies still free on Tubi?
Some may be, but the historical 2025 lineup should not be presented as a guaranteed current catalog. During the research check on August 12, 2026, Tubi pages for Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: War, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, All-Star Superman, Constantine: City of Demons, and Superman: Man of Tomorrow displayed the titles and metadata but marked the content unavailable.

That can happen when a license expires, a title rotates out, or the page is being viewed from a geography where the film is not licensed. A title page containing a synopsis or cast information is not proof that playback is currently enabled.
How to check a movie before watching
- Open Tubi in your browser, smart-TV app, phone app, or supported streaming device.
- Search for the exact title, such as Justice League: War or Wonder Woman: Bloodlines.
- Open the title’s own page rather than relying on an old article, search snippet, or recommendation list.
- Look for a playable watch option. If Tubi says “content unavailable,” the movie is not currently playable through that listing.
- Repeat the check for every film you want to watch. Availability is title-specific and may also be location-specific.
Do not assume that a movie is available simply because its Tubi metadata page still appears in search results. The practical rule is simple: check the exact title immediately before starting your viewing plan.
What should you watch first?
Your best starting point depends on what you want from DC animation:

| If you want… | Try first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A team-origin adventure | Justice League: War | It presents heroes joining forces against a major alien threat. |
| A self-contained Superman story | All-Star Superman | It stands apart from the main shared movie continuities. |
| A Superman alternate history | Superman: Red Son | Its premise reimagines Superman’s upbringing and political identity. |
| A Diana-led feature | Wonder Woman: Bloodlines | Wonder Woman is the central hero rather than part of a large ensemble. |
| Darker supernatural material | Constantine: City of Demons | It focuses on Constantine and is rated R. |
| The Superman death-and-aftermath storyline | The Death of Superman, followed by Reign of the Supermen | The films are thematically connected, although viewers should verify the intended continuity and current availability. |
These are viewing suggestions, not claims that the titles remain free on Tubi. Confirm each film’s current status first.

There is no single watch order for the entire reported Tubi selection because the films do not all share a continuity.
For a broad sampler, you can watch one title from each category: All-Star Superman for a standalone adaptation, Justice League: War for a shared-universe team story, Wonder Woman: Bloodlines for Diana, and Constantine: City of Demons for mature supernatural material.
If you specifically want the Superman death arc, start with The Death of Superman and continue with Reign of the Supermen. If you want the early DC Animated Movie Universe, Justice League: War is a reasonable entry point, but the broader Tubi lineup also contains films that are outside that continuity.
Tubi also added DC animated series
In March 2026, Tubi began adding a large group of Warner Bros. and Cartoon Network animated series, including Teen Titans, The Batman, Justice League, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Those are series, not evidence that the movie lineup remains available. They are useful adjacent discoveries for viewers browsing Tubi’s DC animation offerings, but movie and series rights can change independently.
What to do if your favorite disappears
Free streaming is convenient, but it is the least predictable way to keep a particular licensed film available. If a favorite is worth revisiting, consider DC animated movies on DVD or Blu-ray. Verify the exact edition, region compatibility, seller, stock status, and included features before purchasing; those details were not checked for a specific product in this research.
Physical media can make more sense for films such as All-Star Superman, Justice League: Gods and Monsters, or another title you expect to watch repeatedly. It does not depend on a particular streaming license, though it does require a compatible disc drive or player.
Want to keep watching?
Tubi is a good place to check first because the service is free with advertising, but its movie catalog changes. If a title is unavailable, compare legitimate rental, purchase, or physical-media options. Do not rely on an old “free on Tubi” article as a permanent availability notice.
The bottom line
Tubi’s 2025 expansion gave viewers a meaningful free, ad-supported way to find DC animated films, including Superman, Justice League, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Constantine stories. The selection was valuable precisely because it covered multiple eras and continuities—but that variety also means it was never one complete chronological library.
Because several representative title pages showed “content unavailable” on August 12, 2026, the most accurate answer today is conditional: Tubi carried these movies, but you must check each title in your own location before watching. For a film you do not want to lose, physical ownership is the more dependable option.

Frequently Asked Questions
Did Tubi add DC animated movies for free?
Yes. Tubi announced six DC animated movies in December 2023, and reporting in January 2025 described a larger selection of more than a dozen titles. Tubi’s service is free and ad-supported, but individual movies can later leave the catalog.
Are all of the reported DC animated movies still on Tubi?
No such blanket claim is safe. On August 12, 2026, Tubi pages checked for several films—including Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: War, and Wonder Woman: Bloodlines—showed them as unavailable. Check each exact title in Tubi before viewing.
Are these movies all part of the same DC universe?
No. The reported lineup combines DC Animated Movie Universe entries, standalone adaptations, older direct-to-video films, and alternate-universe stories such as Superman: Red Son and Justice League: Gods and Monsters.
Which DC animated movie should I watch first?
For a team story, try Justice League: War; for a self-contained Superman film, try All-Star Superman; for Wonder Woman, try Wonder Woman: Bloodlines; and for mature supernatural material, try the R-rated Constantine: City of Demons—subject to current Tubi availability.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Tubi carried a substantial selection of DC animated movies during 2025, but streaming rights rotate. Search each title directly in Tubi before watching, and consider DVD or Blu-ray for favorites you want to keep available.
