The Moto G96 5G is the less expensive option in the cited price snapshot and offers a 144 Hz curved pOLED screen, IP68 rating, stereo speakers and a lower listed weight. The Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G costs more in that snapshot but lists a 6,000 mAh battery, NFC, rear-camera OIS and a defined software-support commitment. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone performs better in everyday use.

Specifications are from Motorola Support India and Samsung India. Prices are reported by Motorola India and Smartprix; they are observed figures, not a guaranteed like-for-like official price comparison.
What is the price difference?
The cited comparison lists the Moto G96 5G at ₹20,999 and the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G at ₹26,790, making Samsung ₹5,791 higher in that snapshot. The figures do not establish that the phones are matched for storage, seller, offer or date, and Samsung’s official price was not confirmed in the cited result. Before deciding on value, compare the same memory and storage configuration from the same seller, with the same offers, on the same date.

Moto lists a 6.67-inch curved pOLED screen with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz; Samsung lists a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen at up to 120 Hz. The Moto therefore has the higher stated refresh-rate ceiling, while both phones use OLED display technology. These figures describe specifications, not measured brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability or a tested difference in smoothness.

Which phone has the better battery?
The Samsung specification lists a 6,000 mAh battery, compared with 5,500 mAh for the Moto. Motorola also specifies 33 W TurboPower charging; the cited Samsung result does not establish a charging speed. Capacity alone does not show which phone lasts longer between charges: no independent head-to-head battery-life test is established by the cited sources.
What do the camera specifications establish?
Samsung lists a 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP rear-camera system with OIS, plus a 12 MP front camera. The cited Motorola extract does not detail its camera configuration, so these sources do not support a full camera-spec comparison. OIS is a listed hardware feature, not proof that Samsung takes better photos or video; no comparative camera testing is established here.

Which phone is lighter and better equipped for your needs?
The Moto weighs 178 g, while Samsung lists 206 g—a 28 g difference in the listed figures. Motorola also specifies IP68 and stereo speakers. Samsung lists NFC; Motorola’s cited specification page does not list NFC, and Samsung’s cited page does not list stereo support. A missing listing is not proof that a feature is absent, so verify a feature you rely on against the exact regional model before buying.
How long will each phone receive software support?
Samsung’s India product page promises six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from the phone’s first global launch date. It lists the security update period as valid until 31 July 2032. The page’s displayed specification extract identifies Android as the operating system but does not state the Android version.

Motorola’s cited support page lists Android 15 for the Moto G96 5G, but does not give a directly comparable number of OS upgrades or years of security updates. The available statements therefore establish a specific support commitment for Samsung, but do not establish an equivalent duration for Motorola.

Choose the Moto G96 5G if
- You want the lower listed price in the cited snapshot, after checking current prices for equivalent configurations.
- You prefer its curved pOLED display with a stated 144 Hz maximum refresh rate.
- A lower listed weight, IP68 rating or stereo speakers matter to you.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro 5G if
- You value the larger stated battery capacity, NFC or rear-camera OIS.
- You want a clearly stated software-support commitment of six OS upgrade generations and six years of security updates from first global launch.
- The 8 GB/256 GB or 6 GB/128 GB configuration suits your needs and the current same-variant price justifies the difference.
There is no evidence in the cited sources to declare one universally faster, better at photography or longer-lasting in real use. Treat the choice as a trade-off among listed features, support terms and current like-for-like pricing rather than a tested performance verdict.
