Fix stutter in the least destructive order
- Confirm that update 1.002.000 or later is installed. The update changed the default image-reconstruction path to QSSR and includes stability and crash fixes.
- Restart the PS5 after patching. This clears a game session that may have been running across an update.

Why will Marvel’s Wolverine not download or install?

Clear System Software Cache is intended for system-feature issues or performance drops; Rebuild Database scans the drive and creates a fresh content index. Rebuilding is maintenance, not a factory reset, and should be attempted earlier than destructive recovery.
- Turn the PS5 off completely, not into Rest Mode.
- Press and hold the power button until you hear the second beep, then connect the controller with a USB cable and press the PS button.
