Yes. Perplexity’s official Comet page lists Windows as a supported platform, so the “coming soon” framing is no longer current. Comet is Perplexity’s web browser, designed around an integrated AI assistant; check the official Comet page for current download access.
What is Perplexity Comet?
Comet is a browser from Perplexity. Its product page presents it as a browser with an AI assistant, while Perplexity’s launch announcement described the assistant as a way to help with browsing and web-based tasks. That describes the product’s intended experience at launch, not a guarantee that every announced capability is currently available to every user.

How to get Comet on a Windows PC
- Open Perplexity’s Comet page.
- Use the Windows download option shown there and follow the installer’s prompts.
- Follow any sign-in or access steps presented during download or setup. The launch-era announcement does not establish today’s access policy, so rely on the live page and installer flow.
What to check before switching browsers
- Availability: The official product page lists Windows support. Download access and platform availability can change, so confirm the current option on that page.
- Fit for your work: Consider whether an assistant integrated into browsing would help with the web tasks you do. The launch announcement describes that broad purpose but does not confirm the present availability of each capability.
- Requirements and account terms: The official sources cited here do not establish Windows minimum requirements, regional eligibility, a current release number, or which features depend on an account or subscription. Check the current download and sign-in flow for applicable terms.
Comet is not Perplexity Personal Computer
Perplexity’s blog index also lists a Windows announcement for “Personal Computer.” That is a separate product, not another name for the Comet browser. The Perplexity blog index is the source for that separate announcement.
