Profiles built from carefully connected rows may still be affected by thumbnail cropping, vertical previews, pinned content, and differences between screen sizes. Reordering may improve the sequence, but it cannot recreate a previous grid dimension.

How can you change the grid safely?
Save the current arrangement before making extensive changes, then test the new layout in small steps. A screenshot of the existing profile can help you manually rebuild it if the new arrangement does not work.
- Take screenshots of the current profile grid.
- Move a small number of posts first and inspect the result.
- Check the profile as a visitor would, including on another device if possible.
- Account for pinned posts before planning the ordinary grid order.
- Manually drag posts back if the result is wrong.
- Do not archive or delete posts merely to rebuild the grid unless you accept the effects of those actions.
Some secondary coverage mentions an undo control during editing, but the strongest available reports do not document a permanent one-tap “reset to chronological order” feature. Treat manual rearrangement as the dependable recovery method unless the current app clearly provides another control.
