Watch Call of Duty League matches live on the league’s official YouTube and Twitch channels. Use the official CDL Schedule to choose a season, event, team and fixture, then check the listing on the day because match times and event status can change. After a broadcast ends, open the official homepage or Events archive and select Watch Match VOD for the replay.
Twitch is also the route for eligible viewership-reward campaigns: you must watch while signed in with Twitch linked to an Activision account, and campaign and regional restrictions apply. Approved creators may co-stream selected events on YouTube or Twitch, but a watch party is commentary around the official broadcast rather than a replacement for the league’s primary feed.
Where CDL matches are streamed live
The current Call of Duty League season announcement says: “The League will continue to be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch, as well as co-streamed by fan-fueled watch parties.” That makes YouTube and Twitch the official live destinations. The league homepage is useful as a starting point because it surfaces current fixtures and Match VOD links, but the Schedule page is the authoritative place to determine when a particular match is supposed to begin.

Open the official CDL Schedule and narrow the listing before you start a stream:

- Select the season you want to follow.
- Choose an event or event group to see its fixtures.
- Use the team filters when you are looking for one roster rather than the entire slate.
- Open the specific match listing and check its displayed date, time and status.
- Return to the listing on the day of the match. Future times and event details can change, so an old calendar entry or social post should not be treated as the final start time.
The schedule is especially important during multi-day events, when several matches may appear close together and the published order can change. If you are travelling to a venue or arranging a watch party, verify the schedule immediately before making plans.
Start the official broadcast
At match time, open the league’s official YouTube or Twitch channel from the league homepage or the current event information. Both platforms carry the official live feed. If one service is buffering or unavailable on your connection, the other official platform is the logical alternative; do not assume that an unofficial restream has the same rights, commentary or complete match coverage.
How to find a particular live match
Searching for a team name alone can produce old clips, highlights or third-party uploads. The schedule’s season, event and team controls are designed to take you to the current fixture.
- Identify the season. Season selection prevents a previous season’s fixture from being mistaken for the current one.
- Identify the event. Event groupings separate regular-season matches and tournament stages, which helps when many fixtures share the same teams.
- Filter by team if needed. Select the team involved and review the remaining match cards.
- Check the match status. A scheduled, live or completed status tells you whether to open a live channel or look for a replay.
- Open the broadcast at the listed time. The official YouTube or Twitch stream is the primary source for the league feed.
Because times and event status are volatile, refresh the schedule if a stream does not appear at the expected moment. Confirm that you selected the correct season and event before concluding that the match has been delayed or cancelled.

YouTube or Twitch: which viewing route fits?
Both services carry official CDL live streams, so the choice usually depends on the viewing feature you need rather than on access to a different league feed. The following comparison uses the differences established by the league’s platform announcements and reward rules.

The table does not mean that every event has a reward, a watch party or identical availability in every country. Those features are controlled by the individual campaign or event rules.
How to watch a CDL match you missed
The official site provides an on-demand path through completed fixtures. Instead of relying on a search-engine result or an old third-party video, use the league’s own archive.
- Open the official CDL homepage or the Events archive.
- Find the completed event. Use the event grouping or matchup information to narrow the list.
- Locate the finished fixture you want to watch.
- Select Watch Match VOD.
- Confirm the matchup and event before pressing play, particularly when the same teams met more than once.
The homepage and Events archive display completed fixtures with a Watch Match VOD action. Page layouts and availability can change, so an older bookmark may not lead to the current replay. If a direct video link no longer works, return to the event archive and open the VOD from the completed match card.

Finding one map or segment inside a replay
The archive gives you the correct full-match recording, but the supplied league information does not establish a universal chapter format, timestamp system or map-level search for every VOD. Use the event and matchup labels to choose the right recording, then use the player’s own seek controls if you need to move through the match.
How Twitch viewership rewards work
The official 2026 Championship Viewership Rewards page instructs viewers: “Watch live matches on twitch.tv/callofduty_esports to earn rewards!” Rewards are not an automatic benefit of watching every CDL broadcast. They depend on an active campaign, an eligible region and the account links required by that promotion.
Account setup
- Create or use an Activision account.
- Link the applicable game account named by the promotion, such as Battle.net, PlayStation Network, Xbox or Steam, where required for your setup.
- Link your Twitch account to Activision.
- Sign in to Twitch before watching the eligible live match.
- Watch the specified channel and event for the campaign’s required period or conditions.
The promotion page is the controlling source for the campaign. Check it before a match rather than assuming that an older Championship campaign is still active. A viewer can be watching the official Twitch channel and still receive nothing if the campaign has ended, the country is excluded, the accounts are not linked correctly or the event is not one of the eligible broadcasts.

First confirm that the campaign applied to your region and that Twitch and Activision show as linked. Check that you watched while signed in and used the channel specified by the promotion. The 2026 instructions say missing rewards may be restorable for up to 14 days after the applicable campaign ends, so follow the support or restoration process within that window. That restoration period is campaign-specific and should not be treated as a permanent claim deadline for future promotions.

Watching through a CDL watch party
The league’s 2026 Watch Party Guidelines describe approved co-streaming for select CDL events. A watch party adds a creator’s commentary and community discussion while the official broadcast remains the primary league feed.
What approval means
Watch parties are available to participants who meet the guideline requirements and operate a channel in good standing. The program is not an open affiliate scheme, and the existence of a creator stream does not prove that every creator may rebroadcast a CDL event. Approval is tied to the selected event and the published guidelines.
How to use one as a viewer
- Find a creator identified as an authorized participant for the event.
- Open that creator’s YouTube or Twitch watch party at the scheduled time.
- Use the creator’s chat and commentary if you want an interactive, community-led experience.
- Switch to the official league stream if you need the primary broadcast, or if the creator’s co-stream is unavailable.
A normal viewer does not need co-streaming permission simply to watch an authorized party. The restrictions apply to the creator rebroadcasting the event, not to the audience joining it.

- Official live stream: best when you want the match as it happens and the league’s primary presentation.
- Twitch live stream: best when an eligible viewership-reward campaign is active and your linked accounts satisfy its conditions.
- Approved watch party: best when creator commentary and community discussion matter more than a presentation limited to the official feed.
- Match VOD: best when the fixture is over or your schedule does not allow live viewing.
These choices are not interchangeable for every event. Rewards can be limited to a campaign and region, watch parties can be limited to selected events and approved creators, and VOD availability is tied to the completed fixture shown in the official archive.
Troubleshooting when a match or VOD is hard to find
The stream is not live at the listed time
- Refresh the official Schedule and recheck the match status.
- Confirm that the selected season and event are correct.
- Check both official platforms, YouTube and Twitch.
- Allow for a schedule or event-status change rather than relying on an old reminder.
The replay link is missing
- Open the official Events archive instead of an old saved video URL.
- Look under the completed event and verify the exact matchup.
- Select Watch Match VOD from the completed fixture card.
- If the event page has changed, begin again from the official homepage, which also surfaces current Match VOD links.
A Twitch reward did not track
- Check that the campaign is active and covers your region.
- Verify the Twitch-to-Activision link and any required Battle.net, PlayStation Network, Xbox or Steam connection.
- Confirm that you watched while signed in on the specified channel.
- Use the campaign’s restoration process within the stated 14-day post-campaign window when that option applies.
A watch party is not available
Approval is event-specific and limited to creators who satisfy the guidelines and maintain a channel in good standing. If no authorized party is listed, use the official YouTube or Twitch broadcast rather than assuming that any commentary stream is sanctioned.
Planning around changing dates and locations
Future CDL dates and locations can change. The Schedule page should be your final check before watching, arranging a group viewing or travelling to an event. Recheck the event on the day, then open the official platform listed for the live broadcast. For a match you cannot attend live, the Events archive is the dependable place to look for the completed fixture and its Watch Match VOD action.
