Watch them in this order: Avatar: The Last Airbender, then The Legend of Korra, then Avatar: Seven Havens. This follows the franchise’s published sequel relationship: Korra continues the world of Aang, and Seven Havens is explicitly set after The Legend of Korra.
The correct Avatar watch order
The cleanest first-time route is the franchise’s release and story sequence:
- Avatar: The Last Airbender — begin with Aang’s original animated story.
- The Legend of Korra — continue with the sequel series about Aang’s successor.
- Avatar: Seven Havens — watch this after Korra; Paramount+ describes it as the next story in the Avatar series.
You should not start with Seven Havens if this is your first exposure to the franchise. It is not a parallel spin-off or an unrelated retelling. Its premise follows the Avatar cycle after Korra, so watching the earlier series first gives you the intended context for the setting, the Avatar’s role and the handoff from one era to the next.

The Last Airbender establishes the original story
Nickelodeon’s official material dates the original series’ debut to February 21, 2005. It introduces Aang’s era and provides the foundation for the franchise’s world and mythology. Starting here means every later reference arrives in the order the creators published it.

The Legend of Korra is the direct follow-up
Nickelodeon has described The Legend of Korra as a spin-off of the original series. It follows Aang’s successor rather than retelling Aang’s journey, making it the natural second stop. Watching it before Seven Havens lets you experience the most recent completed era before the franchise moves to its next Avatar.
Seven Havens continues after Korra
Paramount+’s series guide states: “Avatar: Seven Havens is the next story in the Avatar series and takes place after The Legend of Korra.” That wording settles the order for a first viewing. Seven Havens belongs after Korra, not between parts of the earlier shows.
Paramount Press Express describes the new series as following Pavi, a young Earthbender who discovers that she is the new Avatar after Korra. The successor relationship is therefore part of the official premise, not just a fan viewing preference.

| Series | Place in the story | What to know before watching | Current status in the supplied release information |
|---|---|---|---|
| Avatar: The Last Airbender | First | Aang’s original animated story and the franchise starting point. | The original series debuted February 21, 2005. |
| The Legend of Korra | Second | A spin-off/sequel centered on Aang’s successor. | Watch after the original series and before Seven Havens. |
| Avatar: Seven Havens — Book 1 | Third | The next Avatar story, set after Korra; Pavi becomes the new Avatar after Korra. | 13 episodes, released in four October 2026 batches on Paramount+. |
| Avatar: Seven Havens — Book 2 | After Book 1 | A continuation of Seven Havens. | Confirmed for 13 episodes; release date not announced in Paramount+’s guide. |
Step-by-step: a first-time viewing plan
- Finish Avatar: The Last Airbender first. Treat the original animated series as your entry point. Do not alternate it with the other shows; switching series can make the generational progression harder to follow.
- Move directly to The Legend of Korra. Once Aang’s story is complete, start the sequel. Its focus is a different Avatar, so expect a new lead rather than a continuation that keeps Aang at the center.
- Complete the available Korra episodes before opening Seven Havens. Paramount+ places Seven Havens after Korra, and that sequence is the least spoiler-prone route.
- Start Seven Havens when you are ready for a scheduled rollout. Book 1 was released in batches rather than as one single drop. Use the calendar below to plan viewing around the dates.
- Keep Book 2 separate from Book 1. Paramount+ has confirmed 13 episodes for Book 2, but its release date has not been announced. There is no need to search for a Book 2 premiere date that has not been published.
Seven Havens Book 1 release schedule
Paramount Press Express announced a global Paramount+ premiere on October 9, 2026. The 13-episode first book is divided into four release batches:

| Release date | Episodes | How to use the date |
|---|---|---|
| October 9, 2026 | Episodes 1–3 | The global premiere batch. |
| October 16, 2026 | Episodes 4–6 | The second batch. |
| October 23, 2026 | Episodes 7–9 | The third scheduled batch. |
| October 30, 2026 | Episodes 10–13 | The final Book 1 batch, completing all 13 episodes if the announced schedule is followed. |
If you are watching before October 23 or October 30, the later episodes will not yet be available even though the premiere has already happened. If you are reading after those dates, check the Paramount+ listing for the complete Book 1 catalog. A service’s label can change as batches finish and can also differ by country.
Where to stream the shows
Paramount’s official materials identify Paramount+ as the streaming home for Avatar: Seven Havens. The same service’s guide is the relevant place to check the current listing for Book 1 and any information about Book 2.
Availability is catalog-dependent. The official pages used for the release announcement do not provide a country-by-country table, so a Paramount+ subscription in one market should not be treated as proof that the same title, episode or release date is visible in every other market.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsCheck your local catalog
- Open the Paramount+ app or website available in your country.
- Search for “Avatar: Seven Havens” rather than relying only on a home-page banner.
- Open the series page and confirm the season or book label and the latest episode number.
- Compare the displayed episodes with the announced batch dates if an episode appears to be missing.
- If the title is absent, verify that you are using the local Paramount+ catalog and not a different service region; the published announcement does not guarantee identical regional availability.
For The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, use the same search-first approach. Their position in the watch order is fixed even if the services carrying them in your territory change over time.

How to watch if you want to avoid unfinished releases
Wait until Book 1 is complete
The announced final batch arrives October 30, 2026. Waiting until after that date lets you watch all 13 Book 1 episodes without a break between batches. This is the best option if you prefer a continuous story and do not want to stop after episode 3, 6 or 9.
Watch along with the rollout
Watching each batch as it arrives gives you three-episode checkpoints, followed by a four-episode finale batch. Keep the dates in the release table visible so you do not mistake a scheduled episode for a technical problem.
Start the franchise while Seven Havens rolls out
If you have not watched either earlier series, begin with The Last Airbender now and proceed to Korra. The staggered Book 1 launch gives you time to complete the earlier shows before reaching the newest series, without changing the canonical order.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →What “after Korra” means for your viewing plan
“After The Legend of Korra” describes the story’s place in the Avatar sequence. It does not mean you need to insert Seven Havens into the middle of Korra or watch an episode of each show in alternating order. Complete the second series, then begin the third.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
The official premise also identifies a new central Avatar, Pavi, after Korra. That is a generational handoff: Seven Havens moves to the next Avatar rather than resetting the franchise to Aang’s starting point.
Release order versus a “chronological” order
For these three series, the recommended chronological and release sequence are effectively the same: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra, then Seven Havens. There is no advantage to rearranging them for a first viewing.
A rewatch can use the same order because it preserves the way the franchise reveals its successor Avatars. Starting with Seven Havens may expose you to a later era before you have seen the stories that establish the earlier one, while starting with Korra skips the original series’ foundation.
Common ordering mistakes
- Starting with Korra because it is a newer title: It is the second series, not the franchise entry point.
- Treating Seven Havens as a standalone reboot: Paramount+ identifies it as the next Avatar story after Korra.
- Expecting all 13 Book 1 episodes on premiere day: The announced rollout places them in four October batches.
- Assuming every country receives the same catalog on the same date: Paramount’s searched announcement does not include a country-by-country availability table.
- Looking for a Book 2 date: Book 2 has been confirmed for 13 episodes, but its release date remains unannounced in the current guide.
Completion checklist
Use this checklist to keep your place without spoiling future episodes:
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
- Complete Avatar: The Last Airbender.
- Complete The Legend of Korra.

- Watch episodes 4–6 (October 16 batch).
- Watch episodes 7–9 (October 23 batch).
- Watch episodes 10–13 (October 30 batch).
- Monitor Paramount+ for Book 2’s eventual release date.
Book 1 and Book 2: what is confirmed
Book 1 contains 13 episodes. Paramount+ has also confirmed a 13-episode Book 2. The confirmation establishes the planned episode count, not a launch date; no Book 2 date is announced in the current guide. Avoid treating an unlisted date from unofficial posts as a schedule.
Because Book 1’s episodes arrive in batches, the phrase “Book 1 is streaming” can depend on when and where you check. During the October rollout, use the episode list to see which batches have reached your catalog. After the October 30 batch, the announced 13-episode book should be complete unless Paramount changes the schedule.
Quick decision guide
| Your situation | Best approach | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| You are new to the franchise. | Watch The Last Airbender → Korra → Seven Havens. | Preserves the published sequel relationship. |
| You have watched the first two series. | Start Seven Havens with the batch currently listed in your Paramount+ catalog. | Its story begins after Korra. |
| You dislike weekly or staggered releases. | Wait until after October 30, 2026, then watch all 13 Book 1 episodes. | The final announced batch completes Book 1. |
| You cannot find an episode. | Check the local Paramount+ catalog and compare the date with the rollout table. | Availability can vary by region and by batch date. |
| You are planning beyond Book 1. | Follow Paramount+ announcements for Book 2. | Its 13-episode order is confirmed, but the release date is not. |
Bottom line on the Avatar order
Start with Avatar: The Last Airbender, continue with The Legend of Korra, and finish with Avatar: Seven Havens. Paramount+ is the official streaming home identified for Seven Havens; Book 1 has 13 episodes released in October 2026 batches, and Book 2 is confirmed for 13 episodes without a published release date. Check your local catalog before assuming an episode or book is available.
