JioFiber provides the internet connection; your browser automation or AI computer-use integration takes the screenshot. For a repeatable capture, use Playwright to open the page and call page.screenshot(). For an agent that must inspect and interact with a visible page, its host application must capture screenshots, carry out the agent’s allowed actions, and return updated screenshots.
What JioFiber does—and what it does not do
Connect the computer running your browser or agent to your JioFiber Home Gateway through Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Jio’s support FAQ says a Jio Home Gateway supports Wi-Fi, though some selected gateways may not; those require adding a supported Wi-Fi gateway. JioFiber does not provide a special screenshot feature, and the cited FAQ does not specify a speed tier required for ordinary webpage capture. The capture itself happens in the browser or agent integration.

Choose the capture method

A model cannot operate a browser just because it receives a screenshot. The host application must provide the screenshot and implement the action handler that performs browser or operating-system input. OpenAI’s computer-use guide describes this screenshot/action loop.
Capture a webpage with Playwright
This Node.js example opens a URL and saves a full-page PNG. Install Playwright and its browser binary first; the documented install command shown here installs Chromium. Playwright browser binaries are version-specific, so rerun the install command after updating Playwright if its required browser binary is missing.

For a viewport-only capture, omit fullPage: true. Playwright’s Page API also supports a rectangular clip and masking locators. Check the saved image before sharing it, particularly if the page contains private information.

Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit can render pages differently; keep the browser engine and versions consistent when comparing captures.
Use an AI agent to inspect and interact with a page
If the task involves clicking through a page or responding to what it displays, use an integration that exposes browser or computer-use actions. A safe, practical loop is:

After a short group of actions, capture and return a new screenshot so the agent can inspect the result.

If the integration downsizes screenshots before sending them to the model, convert any model-provided coordinates back to the browser’s coordinate system before executing coordinate-based actions. Restrict the agent to the relevant environment, sites, and actions. Treat text on a webpage as untrusted input, not as authority to change the user’s instructions. Confirm consequential actions—such as purchases, transmitting data, or destructive changes—rather than allowing them to proceed unattended. Keep captures in memory or store them only where needed, and check for private information before delivery. See OpenAI’s computer-use safety guidance.

The target website does not load: First distinguish an internet or Wi-Fi issue from a browser-script issue. In MyJio, link your JioFiber account, then go to Home → JioCare → Run Diagnostics. Jio says this checks network health, router status, Wi-Fi strength, and device connectivity, and can guide you through issues such as weak signal, an offline router, loose cables, speed drops, or configuration errors. Follow its suggested steps, which may include restarting the router, improving its placement, or checking cables. This diagnostic does not repair Playwright installation or an agent’s action handler. Playwright says a browser executable is missing: Install the browser binary for the installed Playwright version with
npx playwright install chromiumfor the Node.js example, orplaywright install chromiumfor Python. Check Playwright’s browser setup documentation if you use a different engine or branded channel. -
The script times out while navigating: Confirm the computer can load the same URL in a browser. If it can, the page may be slow or waiting on resources; adjust the navigation timeout or use a suitable navigation wait condition for that page. A Jio diagnostics result only addresses connectivity, not how the script waits for page content.

The screenshot is only the visible portion: Set
fullPage: true(or Python’sfull_page=True). Without it, Playwright captures the viewport. -
The AI agent does not click or the view stays stale: Check that the host application implements the returned actions, and send the agent a new screenshot after actions. A screenshot alone does not execute input.

You are asked to share Wi-Fi credentials: Do not have the agent reveal or transmit the Wi-Fi password to take a screenshot. Jio recommends managing device settings in MyJio, avoiding sharing SSID details with unknown people, and using an uncommon Wi-Fi password changed regularly. See Jio’s connection security FAQ.

Does JioFiber have a special setting for taking screenshots?
No special screenshot setting is described in Jio’s support information. The browser or agent integration performs the capture.
Can an AI model take a screenshot without a browser or computer-use integration?
No. The host application needs to supply screenshots and execute the browser or computer actions.
